With the whole refugee crisis the Hungarian political landscape went and is still going through a change. The former christian democrat FIDESZ started being more nationalistic and thus started stealing from the voter base of Jobbik, which caused them to go from the 'fugin jews and gibsis are sdealig yor shid :DDDD' party towards a national succdem party, so I don't think that they are still into this turan shit.

They don't really care, they are totally fine celebrating their imagined Turanian roots with shamanic rituals on one day and talking about how Hungary is the country of Mother Mary and we defended Christian Europe from pagan and muslim hordes the next.

The rampaging is called "adventures" and remember fondly by everyone, they teach it as such in school.

Our ruling party for a long time are socdems which are wining only by pandering to the soviet nostalgia while transforming our country to police state and raping us with brutal neoliberal policies. Corruption is so rampant that it's common knowledge that you need to give 20% of size of public grant to politician if you want to get it.

Alternatives to them are joke. Our communist party is joke, they would close borders and go full chruščev if given chance. We also have Nazbol party which would go full juche if given chance. Most successful right wing party are "classic" liberals, which will most likely become ruling party in a few elections.

This all makes great confusion here, and calling someone on the street "communist" is insult. But I'm quite confident that despite this all we will go full Lenin if starvation appear.

Liberals love them, but that's minority. Most people couldn't care less about them. Rest of course hate them.

Hungarian here. I had quite a few classmates/schollmates during my school years who were ultra natistic, and I have learned one thing. The Hungarian nationalist is one of the stupidest kind of person.
