Why has the establishment and MSM suddenly 180'd on Antifa in complete lockstep?

Regardless of what you think of Antifa, this is NOT organic. This suggests Shadow Gov/Deep State narrative control is a real thing.

Are they throwing Trump a bone because the MIC wants to prop him up because he ordered an Afghan surge?

Is the sign of internal machinations, like Trump having leverage on the establishment? Or vice versa i.e. they've turned him into a puppet and they're calling off the attack dogs?

The few causing violence were hoped to embolden more violence while discrediting the far right and any white identity politics in general. That has been a failure. To disengage from their bastard child and save any of the politicians who were pushing the "one side" stuff they have to disengage now.
Any violent outbreak would have been pushed as a one sided affair. Leftists still pushing the identity politic thing is their largest failure to date.
