So there's a group that's been organizing events in my area and I checked them out and originally liked what I saw. They looked much more radical than the liberals i thought they'd be and even gave off some strong commie vibes.
But then I saw them post something with that dreaded word and my heart sank.
"Decolonization"
Is there even the remotest possibility that "decolonization" could refer to anything other than the fully spooked "Völkisch for brown people" that I think it does?
decolonization is reactionary as fuck, it's literally fascism for brown people
Jacob Fisher
…Colonization was pretty rude. I'm not autistic enough to be all, "KILL WHITEY!" but an apology would be nice.
Dominic Walker
'decolonisation' is a turd positionist philosophy and therefore not leftist. apologies are useless when exploitation is still ongoing.
Julian Gray
apologies are idpol and detract from class analysis
Aiden Rogers
Decolonization is apologizing for colonialism.
It's this whole weird ideology that's disturbingly similar to proto-fascist ideologies like Völkisch.
Wyatt Thomas
**isn't
Charles Russell
I agree, fixing class oppression is the best way to make up for colonization. I'm just mildly worried about what'll happen to whitey when the US becomes an indigenous and black socialist paradise. I won't be racist but others will.
Luke Morales
the fact you thought i was serious shows what a shithole this place is
Christian Lewis
...
Chase King
communism means the abolition of identity.
Luis Rogers
Deconolization seems to fetishize the pre-colonial period as a sort of lost paradise. It doesn't just acknowledge the damage done by colonialism, it seems to demand a return to what it views as a utopian pre-colonial past.
Owen Williams
No. The reactionary nature is right there in the name. "Decolonization" is an attempt to reverse history. You can't do that. All you can do is make more history, and there is nothing remotely new about using history as a justification for racism.
Jayden Wilson
Listen, sassy nigress, if you intend to try to decolonize my ass for being born here the same as you and everyone else in this century, I don't care how dark your skin is, you're no different from white bread-colored pollacks screeching "you have to go back" to which the response I have in store for either of you will be the same.
Would it be possible to use Entryism on decolonizationist organizations and subvert the white people there for NazBol?
Landon Martinez
… Wat?
Jace Barnes
Mugabe tier. See how that worked out. Fucking idpol
Ethan Mitchell
apologies ARE idpol. it's dumb and useless beyond maybe one statement by the first figure of whatever country to acknoledge something happened.
Daniel Lewis
no, it means a truly individual identity.
Oliver Reyes
As long as you mean racial identity then I'm okay with that.
Justin Adams
What's wrong with biology?
Kevin Lee
I'm not even going to entertain going down this road…
Brody Hall
Why you think racism is such a big problem in todays world??
David Hall
It's big enough.
Bentley Hall
How? In the us maybe? But it's overblown there too
Christian Smith
I disagree. Just look at all the to do about confederate statues. I dont know how familiar you are with our history but having public kuntfederate statues is the same as having Heirihito or Mussolini (insert US enemy) statues. I digress however I'm smart enough to know Americas problem know is it needs to get serious about class issues and put racism on the back burner for now.
Lincoln Jenkins
For the life of me I'm still trying to understand what "decolonization" calls for aside from trite-sounding political programs about equity or feeble attempts to reverse all historical injustice.
Ethan Fisher
It's literally NazBol for brown people.
You're thinking of regular liberalism.
Robert Hernandez
I've never heard any definition whatsoever. Every time I try to get a straight answer it deteriorates into something like "autonomy" and "subaltern studies" without much in the way of specifics. I had assumed it's basically "Black Nationalism 2" but I've never seen someone with a cogent summary or willing to honestly explain it to me without attempting to run it down, be slanted, or otherwise.
Juan White
And doesn't that remind you of NazBol?
Christopher Scott
It's been my understanding that decolonial theory has a strong academic base, whereas national bolshevism does not.
If they defined it, they would out themselves as obvious racists. So instead of telling you what it technically means (denotation) they tell you what it means to them (connotation), which is the reason they agree with it in the first place.
Robert Russell
Yeah but academics are bullshit.
Brody Jackson
the original french version of decolonialism is related to the ideas of the Nouvelle Droite, which partly explains their weird fixation on jews. Alain Soral and Dieudonné have links to Dugin.
