Google just paid out 7-10% of its ad revenue back as refunds to advertisers due to AdNauseam. There's a new adblocker that uses the same filter lists as uBlock Origin except it sends false data to trackers and false clicks to advertisers. Google is dependent on advertising to an extent no other major corporation is. We can bankrupt Google and disrupt the entire internet.
Free web tech? Free web tech. netsukuku.freaknet.org/ We could already get rid of ISPs and return the web to its efficient, resilient, privacy-oriented, and decentralized original state if people would adopt Netsukuku over ISPs.

I've been using it for a while but I often forget because it's completely invisible. If it's doing even a small part then I approve.

How about getting an anti-trust suit going against Google and Apple for charging developers a 30% commission and banning 3rd party sellers.

I've been reading up on netsukuku, it's fascinating, seems like a simple way of creating a city wide internet, but how could something like this over long distances like an ocean?
David King
I wonder if this is very helpful. Is having an Adblocker alone not enough to destroy some of the revenue of Google?
Kevin Martinez
I've evaluated this tool and think this is a very nice way of combating Google and the like. However, it doesn't give as much privacy as using a regular adblocker. It lets advertisers know that you visited a website.
Aaron Bailey
No, the ads are not served so it is basically just you using what you would minus the ad revenue.
Jaxon Sullivan

They haven't managed to criminalize more legitimate things in the past, I think as long as we keep the normies aware of this shit and why it matters we shouldn't have any problems

Oh dear, that's disappointing to hear the Pale Moon dev adding it to malicious add-ons list. Looks like you can do a manual override and still use it though, and that's what counts.
They are forcing a switch to a different add-on framework to try and join the Chrome Family(tm) which is going to kill many important add-ons, including the only one that still makes Firefox a tolerable experience, Classic Theme Restorer.
Jacob White
You can apparently turn that block off and install it anyway.

Noticed that. It might be me being picky but it seems like most normalfags wouldn't. idk, what do you/what does Holla Forums think? The header falsely classing it as malware may be some kinda tech limitation (easier to program than making a whole new page for 'hey please reconsider, this hurts muh small businesses' probably). If it's not pale moon can kinda go fuck itself for being so disingenuous.
Justin Morris
Please… This is better for us, if stormfags start distancing themselves from youtube they will quickly die, whether like it or not youtube is so big right now that nothing can replace him, because normies don't get affect by censorship or the easily exploited algorithm so there's no reason for them to look for a alternative video streaming website. People don't understand that, to a website be succeed you need to have a gigantic influx of normies. That's the reason why Holla Forums will probably stagnate (Christ, even halfchan Holla Forums can't find this place).
Benjamin Young
The left needs a decentralized platform just as much. By all means we should continue using Youtube, but we shouldn't be under the impression that Google is on our side.

A long time ago, I thought to make an Adblock fork that would make a take-no-prisoners stance, and not even allow the user to edit the block rules. The point would be to turn it into a simple all-or-nothing situation, because people just plain wouldn't cry for ads they were missing anyway. I never did it because I'm a lazy piece of shit.
But this Adnauseam is downright brilliant. Should I replace uBlock Origin with it or use both? Or some other plugin too? Does it have list subscriptions?
I think even in France and other places there has been a brown-red alliance. It's a flimsy one but necessary in certain instances
Juan Turner
It's built off of uBlock Origin, so you should uninstall uBlock Origin and then install AdNauseam. It uses the same block list as uBlock Origin, and doesn't show you ads. No other plugins necessary.

I don't know about other 'rightists' but I don't give a fuck about capitalism. It erases our race to death for the sake of a slight improvement in profit margins and it'll carry on destroying every other race along with every other last natural or human behaviour, instinct or nature until there's nothing left to suck dry for the sake of profit.
The real priority here is not giving leftists 'muh helicopter rides' or 'bashing' the 'fash'; it's decorating the lamppots of every major city in the world with every last pig and the techno-globalists in Silicon Valley deserve it first for trying to first divide us then destroy us isolated group by isolated group.

Tbh the only reason I haven't bothered posting about this on Holla Forums is because 1) No post history, some spergy hotpocket will delete it 2) Some faggot Holla Forums lurker will likely run crying to the thread and declare it a leftypol plot, since it was posted here first But at the end of the day we both thrive from instability, and Silicon Valley is due for a crash, and so is capitalism as a whole. Alphabet constantly posts around 80% of its profits being from advertising, and is a behemoth of SV, so if we were to take several steps 1) Have the installation reduced to two click install (I haven't installed it yet so I'm not sure if this isn't the case, but normies aren't going to install a github depository no matter how many times some lurking developer who is getting moralfag over his insistence on github tells them it's not hard) 2) Find ways to spread its installation around the internet (as every major medium has vested interests in preventing the spread of its installation, 4chan will likely join these sites quickly despite it not breaking rules) Deluxe breaking the conditioning step: Nazbol gang use their FSB botnets to swap out all instances of adblocking with adnauseum
Aiden Edwards
adnauseum didn't cause this you utopian faggot
Austin Sanchez
Ah good an actual Holla Forums resident did it. I think facebook is the weak link in this, as it's easy to get things shared by pictures, which can't be monitored as easily until facebook become aware of the specific image, unlike getting a hashtag trending or trying to get youtube subscribers to do it, which would likely see your youtube channel terminated. We also have good reach on facebook between leftypol and Holla Forums for something like this.
Anti-Centrist pact now!
Gabriel Kelly
The tax laws and MIC were mentioned in my first post. Until these are addressed, some anti Google movement won't have any effect. Well, obviously it won't have any either way but even assuming if you could make them disappear, a worse company would simply take the place. Why wasting the effort and time to fight a pointless battle? Might as well repost some dumb hashtags with the same purpose. Like what do you even imagine will happen? CIA will reconsider mass surveillance after you just gave them reasons to watch people more? Or do you simply want ad supported sites to be replaces with pay2view cancer?
Voting in a way that forces them to turn more left is the only way to get some minimal gains. Not very attractive obviously but Murica is too broken for much else. Of course you could throw away your vote for a third party, or vote for Rep hoping that they eventually will cause enough damage for muh revolution.
If you have nothing better to do with your time and want to take SOME action, educate your co workers, friends and family. Slacktivism is reactionary, nigga.
Xavier Jenkins
The situation is much better explained in
This is quite possibly kicking the knees out of Silicon Valley. This is a bit of a stretch of the definition of slacktivism.
Ethan Wilson
Even assuming it's correct, how much of it comes from blockable stuff? Either way, let's ignore it all and pretend they won't find other ways to squeeze in ads (which is beyond native, just look how MS pushes them right into the OS but oh well), Google and FB are the only companies that really profit from ads, so even if you magically stop all ads, most SV companies wouldn't even notice it.
And it's not like companies with billions in the bank couldn't find new ways to make money. Google alone makes 3 billion without anything ad related every quarter. Now who'd really suffer if there was almost no more free content on the Internet?
"Let's install an addon and pretend we made a difference!" is even more lazy than spamming Twitter with memes.
Kevin Stewart
I am too retarded. How to install when says extract zip file?
Benjamin Gray
Holy fuck you couldn't be any more wrong. Literally ALL the SV corporations are getting in on the ad and marketing profile business. That was the main reason behind Windows 10 being full blown spyware. Using proprietary software is a nightmare because all the companies these days are using it as data mining platforms. Just look at the permissions demanded for even a simple phone app.
Dylan Bailey
I don't know the installation process for it, but on windows you want to install 7-zip so you can right click and extract files. Last I checked that was the best software for it. Then follow the readme or whatever instructions are contained. You should really learn how to use computers some day.
Data mining has way more uses than ads, and is not something you can avoid with silly addons. The other companies might've want a bit of the ad pie but Google and FB literally got 99% of the market covered.
Jaxon Davis
Your only purpose in this thread is to dissuade people from doing this. You claim that you think it's ineffective and pointless but are one of the top posters in the thread and every argument you make seems to be in pretty poor faith.
Jason Peterson
You're a fucking retard. This addon literally renders marketing profiles useless and causes financial damage to ad supported corporations. Also, while data mining has more uses than just ads, the MAIN use of data mining is for ads. You're a pretentious faggot that knows literally nothing about this industry. Please shut up if you don't have a vaguely informed thought to provide.
Alexander Peterson
I saw the 4/pol/ thread and it lead me here, not out of suspicion but begrudging agreement you're right on this one. Even if it's not direct or organised co-operation we both need to spend less time hitting each other and more time hitting Silicon Valley now it's showing its hand.
We have to fuck with them like we've never done before or it's over for both of our sides.
Now I was never really a fan of Stormfags or the Daily Stormer, but don't pretend we can't see where this is all headed a few moves later now Google and others have shown how far they're willing to go to shut down a grouping of movements and ideologies they don't like. Everyone will cheer them on now seizing domains and controlling information with an iron fist while it's 'Nazis', 'white supremacists', 'hate' and whoever else they can tar with that brush that their groomed audience thinks is the current boogeyman. But then what happens next time we get an inevitable recession and a strong anti-capitalist movement emerges? They turn it all on it's head to shut you down with the 'violent left', 'anti-capitalist extremists' and 'all extremists are bad' narratives that they'll manipulate the formerly neutered right to legitimise out of resentment for what's happening to them now to shut the threat down. Everything going on now about 'anti-hate' or no-platforming 'Nazis' is just a dress rehearsal and practice for when the real fight happens when they go after the anti-capitalist left next time it threatens their interests. Ban the right then ban the left so no-one can threaten or oppose their takeover of the exchange of information.
I don't like defending the left or trying to prevent Silicon Valley from shutting down the organising platforms for the left, but I can see exactly where things go from here if we don't do something about the pigs pulling the strings in the middle here and don't start punching the centre rather than each other.
Landon Ross
Fuck you are dumb. All your posts in this thread are baseless statements used as a foundation for "dude just do nothing it's all good lmao"

I've always wanted to use a meshnet but I feel like as it currently stands they're practically useless. All the stuff I browse isn't on the meshnet after all.

It's just that not enough people use them. However, people won't use them unless they're already functional, which means that they will already have to have people using them, which they won't because they're fine being cucked for their money instead of reading a setup manual for 2 minutes and, oh yeah, they're not yet functional with the current userbase. Oh, and if it used but by the wrong people, you can say goodbye to both privacy (FBI, NSA, etc) and any chance of mainstream popularity. People don't want to surf on the same web as the less savory even though they never see them because… reasons, I don't know why but that's how it is. Why is there no winning at anything in Burgerland?
Joseph Cox
How does some basic adblocker affect data mining on OS level, from every store you buy shit from, almost every website that needs a login or from your ISP? "user browsed granny porn and then went on to read about cat brains" is the most trivial part of it, with minimal consequences for you.
Well, someone has to point out that it's a pointless idea that would cause even more harm if it actually worked.
Not really, it's simple the most straight forward way to monetize it. Even if ads would disappear tomorrow, data mining wouldn't since it's crucial for basically everything.
Oh the ironing.
Which statement would you like a citation for? I guess I might've been a bit optimistic counting on common sense.
Still better than "dude, let's waste time and pretend we do something while ignoring the consequences of what would actually happen if it succeeded". Even spamming anti-capitalism memes serves more use, without any potential downsides. How do you imagine Internet would look if the main source of financing content for most people would disappear?

boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/139264292 4chan love it too. No quicker way to piss off normies than have it equated with that and the only way we can fuck over facebook and Zuckerberg is by getting normies to install it. I'm pretty excited by the pact though, between the two of us we've got our claws into a huge amount of influence and considering hardly anyone knew about this plugin and it was causing quite a bit of chaos earlier it should be shitkicking time for anons once more. A lot of fascists believe a lot of things. But when a fascist comes to power its always with the backing of capital. Your revolutions will always be betrayed.
The only way to avoid this is for a rise up to be grass roots. And if the masses rise up it will only happen because they have some kind of solidarity to work towards. You are apparently arguing to overthrow capitalists and kill darky. Why would most people want to bother to do both?

You can also change the level of protection if you dont want to disable the blocklist altogether. Insted of changing extensions.blocklist.enabled to false, change extensions.blocklist.level to 3 (should be 2 natively), so you still get some of the protection that the system is designed for.
How many replies did that thread have? Every pro-adnauseam thread Ive seen so far lived to at least 200 replies with 90% of them advocating for using it as well as general Holla Forums-Holla Forums friendship regarding internet activities of this kind. Hello my communist friends. 4/pol/ here.
Reminder on how to not get blacklisted when using AdNauseam + auto-click script:
If you click 100% of the ads, or click ads every 10 seconds you will be blacklisted by Google within mere minutes. They are extremely good at automatically detecting "clickfraud".
We dislike Google for different reasons. But together we can slay this fucking beast.
Jaxon Brown
i dont trust your sites and scripts. also this advice doesnt seem to apply to firefox.

Palemoon is utter, absolute shit. It runs drastically slower than any other Firefox fork, and the owner refuses to modernize when new shit comes along (not talking about the godawful new firefucks UI), like taking almost a year to make HTML5 not glitch your browser the fuck out. It is also apparently less secure than most other forks, but I can't attest to that.
Luke Taylor
The beauty is even if they blacklist the IP… they've just blacklisted an IP, if someone else grabs that IP later it'll still be blacklisted. There's no way for Google to resolve this without losing money one way or another.
Samuel Harris
Noice.

Polite sage for DoublePost If you want to make a greater impact on Google and their advertisers, disable popups and run this script jsfiddle.net/icefrogcode/kqdx7cyb/1/ This is an automatic search script, and it searches for the most ad-saturated keywords Google has on hand. Another plus is that it obfuscates accurate search data so your browsing habits are basically useless to advertising companies.
