Che wasn't bad to be honest. Cuba was a burger puppet and deserved to be overthrown. The guy also had balls of steel, he could've had an easy life in Argentina but decided to overthrow someone else's government instead, then he could've had a very easy life in Cuba as a hero and second in command and decided to go back to dodging bullets because fuck it.

You realize he wrote that even before he was a revolutionary & a Marxist - he wouldn't have brought equal rights for black Cubans or fought with Pan-African revolutionaries in the Congo or have given tireless speeches crying for human rights internationally & giving a voice to the oppressed if he still clung onto the racism of his youth. His casual racism was quite common coming from Argentian educated middle-class white youth - it was something you can easily see him quite radically depart from as he evolved.
