He murdered so many innocent cubans - burned books - open concentration camps to torture & "re-educate" Christians & gays - how evil
Actually the above is all just bullshit - if you read to this part let's discuss & debunk right-wing bullshit used to slander & strawman important leftist figures
why do you ML statecucks want to rehab these assholes so badly. you people are the cancer of the left
Cameron Foster
So much for the racist right.
Mason Kelly
Che wasn't bad to be honest. Cuba was a burger puppet and deserved to be overthrown. The guy also had balls of steel, he could've had an easy life in Argentina but decided to overthrow someone else's government instead, then he could've had a very easy life in Cuba as a hero and second in command and decided to go back to dodging bullets because fuck it.
Faggotry being the norm is recent. Nobody was pro-faggotry in the 50s except faggots. And especially not in Latin America due to the macho culture.
Chase Bell
Honestly tho Che is one of the greatest M-L revolutionaries of the past century. I'm not an M-L & think we as leftists should be soundly opposed to "great men" ideologies & that most of the M-L experiments however well started ended in failure - all that said tho Che is absolutely one of the most important & positive figures from the past century. Most things aid against him are Batista-sympathizing slander.
Noah Ramirez
Anprim ever contributed to the left in anyway? don't think so
I don't belive what I'm reading
Jackson Gray
Lmao when Che wrote this the US had legal racial segregation and black people being treated as second-class citizens with the consent and support of the entire capitalist world.
If you're going to play this silly gotcha game it will backfire on literally every single capitalist until a few decades ago.
Benjamin Wilson
Great Man theory would be to imply that no revolutionary spirit would exist in Cuba without Fidel/Che, as if the individuals create the circumstances in which they make events happen.
Saying Che was a great individual is just common sense.

will Holla Forums ever recover

You realize he wrote that even before he was a revolutionary & a Marxist - he wouldn't have brought equal rights for black Cubans or fought with Pan-African revolutionaries in the Congo or have given tireless speeches crying for human rights internationally & giving a voice to the oppressed if he still clung onto the racism of his youth. His casual racism was quite common coming from Argentian educated middle-class white youth - it was something you can easily see him quite radically depart from as he evolved. It's nonsense to use a quote from over a decade before the Cuban Revolution - before he was even Marxist - to defame him.
Ayden Howard
Che was /ourguy/
Oliver Cox
Stop eating the propaganda. Also ML are the only one who did something besides writing and reading
Daniel Torres
What about "We're going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing." ? It's from 1959, right after the revolution. Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means saying it's wrong of him to be racist.

Obviously politfact isn't the end-all be all - but this is worth reading. About that specific quote btw ppl haven't been able to actually source it - some say it's from a speech but no documents or recordings have been traced.

This ignores that Che rescinded his racist views while Mussolini's government (and in some cases, gleefully) imprisoned Jews at the behest of their German masters.
