As in, what ideologies previously did you hold before you became an anarchist or Marxist Leninist?
Some people I understand have been originally just liberals or a-political while others went on a wild ride of ideology or AnCap to Fascist to liberal to ML to Anarchist. Tell me user, what happened with you?
It's a satire picture you shit. It's not supposed to be taken seriously
Daniel Miller
Not that guy but lots of folks at Holla Forums take that picture seriously. It's only satire when you've never been to Holla Forums.
Lucas Mitchell
I was a neo-nazi Holla Forumstard drone. Had a Hitler Youth haircut, etc. Typical Holla Forums ideologies. To save you the time. I started reading and became this.
Tyler Scott
My response is pretty much what I would say if I saw that pic posted on Holla Forums. Because for better or worse I would end up making serious responses to them taking the bait.

Was a liberal, went very far right, realized that I was gay and that it was all self hatred, got a boyfriend, mellowed the fuck out and turned back into a liberal, actually read Marx and realized that all of my arguments against Marxism were based on a strawman from history textbooks.
Leo Williams
Unironic super reactionary primitivist, then I realized that I was using "industrial civilization" to refer to capitalism, and that you can be free without dying of pneumonia at age 4 if you just reorganize society.
William Davis
always been more left/liberal-ish. always thought the right was retarded and wrong. started reading chomsky, parenti, etc years ago. got a little more radical. started looking at chans a couple years back mostly for porn and lulz, happend upon Holla Forums. horrified but sometimes entertained. Found there was such a thing as leftypol and liked it better.
At the end of the day i'm still probably more of a socdem really, but enjoy larping as a tankie or anarcho-com on the internet sometimes.

Oh shit I forgot to do my experience. I was first a die hard conservative who grew up in an extremely Christian family. Voted for bush, then McCain, then Romney. From there I discovered I have a lot of german in my blood. So the logical reasoning? I become a monarchist of all fucking things! From there I start getting creeping Fascism because "muh Nazi germany made best weapons" then I discovery…anarcho capitalism and read Rothbard. I understand "Basic Economics" then just become a liberal for Obama's last two years. Bernie Sanders runs for president, I become a Bernie bro. He loses, I support Hillary…then she loses, I make a Reddit account to congratulate "r/The_Donald" on the win coming from a liberal, I get banned (lol). While on my adventures my former friends harass me for my Bernie support (they voted Trump) and a friend of mine while I'm isolated gives me a copy of Proudhon. I become a Mutualist and go "this Ideology is retarded, it doesn't have any followers at all" I become Marxist-Leninist for 2 weeks then I read Kropotkin and Bakunin and here I am a Anarcho-Syndicalist

>read reddit memes/threads, really don't like what they're talking about, hate that something reasonable has a really shitty supporter base >the real site is link

I was originally a regular liberal, basically like Obama. Then I turned ancap real quick because I stumbled into the ancap/minarchist YouTube sphere of influence around the time Ron Paul was running in 2012 and ate that shit up. Bernie and the automation issue turned me socdem (i.e. I supported UBI). I found 4/pol/ during the Dem primaries in 2015 and started posting there. Legit lefty threads started popping up on 4/pol/ around a year ago and some of the right-wingers were sperging out spamming that the threads were from a "Holla Forums raid" and demanding the mods to purge them so I lurked here a little while (I already knew about Holla Forums because I was part of GG so I didn't go to .pl, didn't know about Holla Forums though) and realized I sympathized very much with your arguments. I'm beginning to actually read some /leftylit/ so maybe I can understand more clearly. I don't know what my tendency is, I'm anti-sectarian though. Frankly I think the infighting largely seems to be over really finicky details and we should be individually backing any genuinely socialist not socdem or nazbol movement in our localities given that they aren't hugely counterproductive.

I went from liberal, to libertarian, to fascist, to nazbol, to market socialism, then back to nazbol, then back to market socialism, then back to nazbol ad infinitum.

I've always been an anarchist tbh
Elijah Torres
How it feels to be so free all your life. :c I was robbed of that freedom of mind by ideological thinking. Never again.
Isaac Roberts
I'm slowly getting redpilled on libertarian Marxism.
Joseph Gonzalez
I don't think I would be an anarchist if I felt free
Matthew Ramirez
jesus, you people change ideology like underwear I was an edgy contrarian faggot kid and was angry at the sheeple so I was into totalitarians like the soviets and nazis but I didn't like magic or racialism so nazism was out of the question eventually learned about philosophy and became a rigorous materialst and since socialism was more or less the only politics that fits a materialist worldview, a socialist I became. I've graduated to an edgy contraran faggot adulthood.

Living in the North of Ireland and un-ironically believed the narrative that the truth was always somewhere in the middle and both unionists and republican were wrong.
Read about history, experienced Unionist Culture first hand, experienced centrist politics here first hand, experienced republicanism fist hand.
Lived in Dublin for a year and saw the harsh reality of serious inequality and bending over so far for corporations.
Now i believe the Revolution must be rekindled and that the Irish state and Northern-Anglo-state must be ground into dust to save the worker and build a true republic.
Ive turned a lot of people off centrist politics here and convinced them "Northern Ireland" is fundamentally ungovernable, and that a united Ireland would liberate a massive working class electorate from the chains of serious sectarianism to fight the real monsters and create a more naturally balanced state.
Ive found it actually considerably helps that im bisexual (specifically that ive been in a male/male relationship for like 6 years) because the arguments for equality and lgbt rights shallowly supported by the centrists are easier refuted.
Found reddit for about half a day, but realized they were just American liberals, or obsessed with idpol. they also thought the irish revolution or troubles could have gone down with some peaceful protesting and being super moral and nice, refusing to look at a broader tactical perspective or multiple viewpoints. Found this place as it was their boogyman full of "cis white racists obsessed with the working class identity(whatever the fuck that means)". gave it a go and realized this was a place one could find actual discussion free books, along with some fucking humor. also this pace made me un-ironicly like the idea of gulags. the orange order need to be gulag-ed like right the fuck now.

Shit, forgot shitposting flag :P

Was always a sort of Left-liberal answer is in the center sort of person and believed all the dumb arguments against socialism. By about 17/18 one of my friends was getting into commie shit and I started spending time on lefty parts of the internet then started to read and now Im here
Ian Kelly
As a britbong, fair enough.
Also, read Larkin: he knew where it was at.
Anthony Russell
That was 17 years ago, since then I have always stayed socialist but had different phases from stalinist North-Korea apologist to strictly pacifist anarchism. One thing that I never changed my mind about, is that the means of production belong to the fucking workers.
Jayden Baker
Big Jim was a good lad. His speeches always were some of the most poetic and rousing in socalist history.
Ive nothing against individual Brits btw, i find the UK state repugnant and the power structures left in Ireland after a some pretty shitty relations between our peoples have been fairly wank.
I do hope Corbyn gets in and at least institutes some help for workers. there.
I was an edgy libertarian before I sort of realized corparations could be oppresive to so I became a liberal then a social democrat then a socialist. Theb I read marx and became a leftcom.
