recently though like in the past 5 months or so me and my mom and my brother moved out of our old house which i guess is a boring story all of its own and we moved into where we are at now and my brothers room is very large and carpetted on the ground floor so him and I have been learning Judo Newaza and 10PJiujitsu and rolling every other day to prepare for this ucoming spring when we're all gonna get some mats and start rolling each other
Extremely fun, a challenge of the mind and body, and I mean the body contact helps stave off the depression a lil no homo
Plus me and my brother are the smallest and upper middle of the field
we've got like 9 or 10 ppeople and we're bordering up on number 3 or 4 or 5 repectiveley so we've got a drive to get better
my younger brother is going on about 18 and He's pulled off some Sneaky and pretty impressive shit that I definately didnt let him have without earning. It's great watching the improvement over time cause It inspires pride imo

I Have an Orange Belt in karate from when I was a kid that's absoluteley useless and really is just part of my history cause I didnt learn jack shit in the long run, but that's just cause I had a bad teacher or maybe I was just a bad student eh?I'd say it's a little more offensive cause its foccused on the kicks mainly
i got a cool plaque from a sparring tourney but karate sparring is just like whoever lands the first strike to the head and chest gets a point

I've only had my bjj white belt for about 2 or 3 months though and no plans yet or in the foreseeable future for competing in tournaments, so there's nothing I have to really claim accolade to

When I roll with my brother we tone it down a few levels so we can get training benefit out of it

I wouldn't feel comfortable saying I'm good cause there's still 3 people in the circle who beat me just about everytime we go, but I feel confident in the ability to defend myself if I were assaulted
and I think I can last for quite a while against the monsters in my group
