We fix the education system.

You mean like that Castro candy video.

Push liberation theology.

...

This will cut back support for Isreal and get shut down hard OP

religion should be a personal issue. nü atheist fedora tippers created a backlash and made many otherwise more or less reasonable people turn towards fundamentalism. When Marx said 'religion is the opium of the people', he was alluding to opium's use as a painkiller. You are not going to ingratiate yourself to the people of the deep south by taking away their only source of hope, however illusory it might be.

The problem is due to spookery trying to encourage these people into leftism will cause them to get scared of the big evil atheist Soviet Union they were conditioned to hate.

By establishing socialism.

Why would you stop it?
If people want to go to the church then why stop them? They can make their own decisions, and they hurt nobody is i see no problem here

People can't go to church if there is no church.

The U.S. is putting significantly less money into countries that it is actually occupying than it is into Israel. I guess that having a lightning rod for impotent rage in the Middle East is really just that valuable.

Reasonable people don't turn to fundamentalism. You have to be retarded already.

Bullshit. He said that in Britain after the Opium Wars and when opium dens were a public health issue. He sure as hell was not calling religion a medicine when he compared it to one of the epidemics of the day.

Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.

Utterly fucking sickening.

Exactly. It is a miserable dream that people retreat from the horrors of reality into and get lost lost in it. Opium.

read it again, but slower
notice the empathy

Yeah, they should not be expending ammunition that could be better used to kill the religious.

Of course there is empathy. Why wouldn't you feel sorry for the people who are driven into their own addled imaginations by the misery of the real world?

that's not what he is saying.
He is saying that religion is a balm for people who are oppressed, suggesting that removing the cause of the oppression will remove the need for the balm.

Most of New England has lowest attendance. New England Workers Party strikes again.

We summon THE MATEYS

That's likely not what he said as those would have been logically fallacious.

On the bright side, I got to see old newspaper articles about Huey Long in a random cafe in Maurice. That was cool.

Stop.

...

Forced free education.

Most attend service as a social thing, you can see videos of pastures in the south drinking beer in church, and rushing the sermon so everybody can watch Super Bowl Sunday. It's the expansionary fundamentalist groups like the Mormons, Jehova Witnesses, Westboro bapists must be dealt with under revolution. Groups like the Mormons in thier rural armed Utah compounds/towns will put up the most resistance (they would be the Christian taliban at that point). After those groups are defeated, reeducated, then the more pacifist fundamentalist groups like Amish, and Mennonites would most likely submit themselves to any armed presence without struggle.

You know what to do.
You know what to do….

Spurdo has arms you dumb faggot.

fucking based. NE represent

I live on the west coast and I don't think I know anyone under the age of 40 that goes to church, most of whom have never been to church and their religious beliefs are "I'm Christian, I guess, because my family celebrates Christmas."

I can't imagine the culture shock of going somewhere with heavy religious service attendance.

...

I remember when I was a kid on the West Coast thirty or so years ago church attendence was already getting low. A lot of the little box churches like one can find in the modern South were starting to close. Now the small churches seem to cater to specific ethnic groups like Koreans or Ethiopians. The big churches in the cities have changed a lot as well. Now they fly rainbow flags and Black Lives Matter banners. I think St. Mark's is the biggest church that does not do the social justice thing too explicitly, but their big draw is the gigantic and incredibly metal pipe organ that they have there.
