Personnaly I go for: the State and the peoples who represent it declare that according to them there is no god and the only judges of the State action must be the workers it claim to represent. in the mean time religious cults are not forbiden as this would be in my opinion a stupid restrain on personal liberty however if the State does not restrain cult to take place nor should have religious leaders any form of platform to push a political agenda and religious organisation should not be permited to run hospitals or schools. And Darwin is mandatory in school.

I've never been in any classrooms that have tried to introduce creationism, so I wouldn't know, but I don't think you're far off.

I'm going to school right now to become a teacher and there are a lot of fucked up ghouls trying to influence education. Another example is the Ayn Rand Institute. They give away free classroom sets of her bullshit books and some schools/teachers take them up on that offer and put her books in the curriculum because often we are on the hook for buying books for our classrooms.
