How is it that they always seem so disorganized? What is the point of these riots? Do they want to defeat the police? If so, why don't they take up some of their tactics? Create your own shields, make a solid line, stop the rubber bullets, coordinate with others to figure out if you're being encircled and led somewhere.
They get a lot of credit for being organized, but it seems sort of masochistic actually. As soon as some shots are fired everyone starts the steady retreat.

What am I supposed to think of it? It's illegal under international law to use mustard gas. If they use mustard gas against protestors today that would be an exceptionally damning crime. Moreso, I think, than just shooting them.
But the USA is much worse than France. The cops in the USA likely would take only a short time to decide to kill rioters if they had any significant success in pushing them back.
