What you are describing is what Stirner describes as "involuntary egoism" - acting in your own interest without meaning to. People who serve God because serving God makes them happy are still spooked, but they are also still acting in their own interests. If you find that "believing" in God or Humanity or whatever benefits you in some way, I don't know that Stirner would necessarily disagree with you, as long as those ideas remain your property and not your masters. but I can't say for sure, because I've only read the first half of the book
