HABEDING

Who is this?

I've seen this chick posted around here a lot lately.

twitter.com/catgirlspls/status/786245741425532928

Did she make this? I thought it was a repost.

Of course this is a repost, it's years old

It's from user Kun i think, google knows more than me

Thought it was, just doubting my own sanity.

Just linked to that post because that's how i think most of leftypol knows about it

THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN

I thought Chavez and Maduro were supposed to be "communist dictators". How exactly is a dictator calling for his government to be reformed a "coup"?

wonder what will be the end result of this
oil doesn't mix with water

One of two things, Venezuela just becomes another Latin American corrupt democracy, OR they enact the PSUV's contingency plan: full on confederalism. My money is on the latter, with the populists siding with the socialists and trade unionists. Either this will be Der Untergang for Venezuela, or we will see the start of something glorious.

they should go for two points
only two fucking points
1 forbid employment of labor by any non-state entity
2 right to work in accordance to one's qualification for all citizens

Uncle Joe's recipe
best of two worlds
flexible coops and state centrally funded enterprises

Dude Venezuela has no money left to employ people, democratic confederalism is perhaps the only thing that might save the country.

I was talking about it more as a political goal
constitutionally guaranteed right to work will get things moving, even if it will not be achieved in the near future

as to the money question
it will not make it worse
in the present state of things all they can hope for is FDI and IMF loans
FDI is achieved by sweatshop conditions
IMF loans conditions will result in the destruction of domestic industry

do it like papa Stalin did
build factories that build the means of production
and then shit will start rolling like a snowball

Welp, and yesterday the pope called on the opposition for not letting the vatican mediate the situation. Apparently, for the opposition the pope is compromised by the government, which is Holla Forums tier of ridiculous.

youtube.com/watch?v=FvS7jef3XaI

They asked for this

They're showing their colors.

They're American puppets trying to astroturf an opposition movement, probably to justify some kind of coup or "humanitarian intervention" from the United States that would establish Venezuela as another right-wing American puppet state. An offer to reform the government with the pope as a moderator is the last thing they wanted. I bet the Western media is pretty frustrated now too.

"Showing their colors"?

The opposition has complied several times with this shit, even Venezuelan christians are getting fed up with the pope, and I've seen people with decades of priesthood calling him communist (mostly for things unrelated to Venezuela).

They already did it before. Nothing happened, they just wasted time because the government didn't want to comply with anything. What's the point of dialogue if one side isn't (or both sides aren't) willing to listen?

so what are they want to say?

He was talking about mediating the constituent assembly.

The opposition won't participate because their role isn't to actually accomplish anything, but to justify toppling the government in order to install a pro-American ancapistan government.

What makes you think that this time will be different?

… because it isn't "talks", it's a constituent assembly to reform the government.

also as a side note, right to live should be dissolved into more concrete rights, such as right to work, right to health care, right to education etc

And you seriously think that the opposition will be taken into account?

By who? The majority of the population?

Do you seriously think that the contributions or objections by opposition members in that assembly won't be ignored?

None of the parties are part of the assembly. It's only delegates chosen by the people and various organisations in the country

So it's just going to become another shitty generic "democracy" where people are fooled into believing voting makes difference and they no longer organize as workers.

nice one boss

like clockwork

Fascist coup and Civil War.

Spoiler: Maduro dies.

FFS, go read something.

Right to work means abolition of unemployment, which leads to worker control over workplaces.

uhhhhhhhhh

Everything you don't like is a coup. Someone called snap elections in britain a coup.

I'll be damned if this doesn't end up with the Christian State of the Americas and the Caribbean when the rest of South America is turned to chaotic war.

I wish tankies weren't so creepy.

It doesn't eggs you dumb son of s bitch

I don't, they should totally make fools of themselves every time they speak.

lol whut

The government is also arresting police/soldiers who were responsible for killing protesters.

what a shitty, awful dictatorship
at least here in America the authorities who shoot unarmed civilians get paid leave

Maduro barely won and later they lost control of their congress thing, and now support is even lower, if this passes a lot of ppl will think it's rigged. It could be war.

You guys should check a dictionary if you don't understand the meaning of a word. You faggots probably don't even read theory.

In Venezuela they get paid too, and there are a metric fuckton of reports of policemen working alongside armed colectivos and driving protesters away or shooting at them.

ayy lmao

i like this webm

...

You can't just pretend that some meanings of the word don't exist.

Good, it's about damn time.

Why are you calling him pedantic when you're the one that doesn't want to recognize a widely used meaning of the word in the dictionary?
