Join the Marxist-Leninist Party!

The MLPC calls on the workers, women, youth and oppressed people to join the work of the party for people’s empowerment and democratic renewal. Canadians are increasingly active to block the neo-liberal agenda and recognize that our security lies in our fight for the rights of all. There is a growing interest in the work of the MLPC and more people are coming forward to join in.

Please fill out the application form below and either submit it to a Party representative in your area or send it by mail to the National Office.

Raise funds for the MLPC!

We encourage all those who support the work of the MLPC to also support it financially. At this time, all funds received go towards the work for political renewal. The MLPC supports the slogan Fund the Process, Not the Parties and participates in the work for empowerment on the basis of funds raised by the MLPC itself, nor does it agree with government giving money to any political parties.

Please make cheque or money order payable to: MLPC
Send to: P.O. Box 666, Postal Station C, Montreal, Quebec. H2L 4L5
The MLPC will issue a tax receipt for all political contributions over $20.

Contribution Limits

The maximum contribution to a registered political party permitted by law in 2017 is $1,550.00. All amounts help. Contributions over $20 will receive a receipt which can be used for a tax credit that reduces taxes paid or payable. You are entitled to a tax credit of 75 per cent of the first $400 to a maximum tax credit of $300; 50 per cent of the next $350 for a maximum tax credit of $475; and 33.3 per cent of any additional amount between $750 to $1,275.00, for a maximum tax credit of $650.00. Even though the contribution limit is $1,550, the maximum for tax credit calculation purposes is $1,275.00.

The law stipulates that the name and address of individuals contributing more than $200 to a registered party must be reported to Elections Canada by the recipient and this information becomes a matter of public record. Contribution of cash more than $20.00 cannot be accepted by a registered political party. Any donation greater than $20.00 must be made either through a money order or a cheque.

Cash contributions of $20.00 or less and cheques or money order for more than $20.00 can be given directly to an authorized representative of MLPC or sent by mail to the above address.

If your contribution is more than $200.00 please make sure that your full name and address are provided, as we cannot accept it otherwise.

there's your answer

Things you can do to help them Holla Forums:

Remember when you throw your support behind a small party like this, your voice and your efforts matter a thousand times more than with the big parties where you are redundant. Canada needs true communism and this is the party that will deliver on that. Also, by joining the party and being active within it, you get to shape party policy and keep it aligned with Holla Forums values. You should work hard to ensure this!

I'm not leaving my armchair, especially not for ML.

elections.ca/content.aspx?section=pol&dir=par&document=index&lang=e#PCP

Here is the list of all parties in Canada.

We already have a communist party, so why not lend your efforts to them, and make communism great again?

If you really want to make your own party for your own special snowflake variety of communism, you will find instructions on Elections Canada to do this.

However, I highly recommend that before you do that, you at least reach out to the parties already on there. Email them about key issues and push them in a more Holla Forums direction. Force leftist parties to take more hardline leftist stances where it matters.

Go and email the marxist lennist party today! It is better than being apathetic and doing nothing for the communist revolution.

Lazy negroes, all of you.

Have fun getting lynched.

Hahahahaha
Canadian here.
Most Canadians are concerned about jobs, specifically oil jobs in Alberta and elsewhere.
I don't think antagonizing corporations to the point where our economy has completely collapsed is a wise course of action.
Yes, people want a higher minimum wage and policies to help the environment.
They also want a healthy economy, good paying jobs, lower housing costs, less debt.
Before you respond with "lel *sniff *sniff pure ideology" I have read Zizek and I have browsed this board for a year.
You people have no fucking idea how to appeal to the masses.

You really want to go full autist and screech to everyone to "become a communist", yet that will repel people.
Focus on issues, and be prepared to answer "What will you do to help get good jobs"?

gulag porky, seize the means of production and smash the state fam

No clue what you're freaking out about. Climate change is making Canada the next world superpower along with Russia. The rich are already buying property up here because they aren't stupid.

more like the next neo-feudal shit hole next to the US

Have fun being a coward. You can wear the hammer and sickle and advocate for a true communist party overtly and nothing is going to happen to you in Canada. NDP (see pic related) was once a marxist party during the Great Depression but they have fallen away from their roots now and degraded into something much less respectable. What do you think is even going to happen to you? Some Holla Forumstard is going to leave his basement and beat you? They're all talk and just try to urge others to do their work for them at best; at worst they are straight up pacifist cowards!

See the elections.ca link I've already posted? Go to each party page and email them on key issues. Push them in a better direction. This will force all the different parties to align more with Holla Forums values and cause an overall shift in the political landscape of Canada.

Forget about what the normies do, do you want a party that is not truly communist to win, and to be responsible for it? I don't. I would rather be ideologically pure and push for more extreme marxism. We can act subversively and overtly at the same time and should do both.

This comment proves the far left is filled with socially retarded autists who don't understand what the masses want.
And even if you were honest like tankies, who openly admit they are power hungry authoritarians, people won't support you.

People are hurting for good paying jobs, policies to help the environment and government intervention against corporations.
Currently, there is a massive backlash against our 5 largest banks, for putting extremely cruel pressure on their call centre staff and retail staff.
These employees are forced to by piece of shit executives and their managers to increase people's credit limits, overdraft amount and give people expensive packages, all for reaching sales targets.

Now, if you were to support the employees and customers against those executives, then people would support you.

Yet you will never gain power and make an influence in Canada, let alone the world.
All you are doing is promoting an ideologically pure club house, politically powerless to do anything.
The Left must choose between ideologically pure political impotence and political compromise.

I want a lower cost of living not a higher minimum wage which only drives up inflation and kills our savings and keeps us in a perpetual cycle of wageslavery.

As a leaf let me say that I don't trust them to move further to the centre, especially after getting more popular.

Don't trust them to not move further to the centre I mean

Why do Canadians like Stalinism?

Burger here. How do I become a leaf?

Look at this edgelord. Back to Holla Forums sonny.

Easiest way would be the same way anyone who wants their citizenship fast-tracked for becoming a new member of a country; join the Canadian Military / National Guard. Just like you can become a citizen of America faster this way, same thing for Canada.

ProTip: you're more likely to die as a crab fisherman than as a member of the Canadian military. If you really want to prove you're an absolute mad man, move to Nova Scotia and become a Crab Fisherman. Unfortunately applying to be a crab fisherman, despite the great risks, probably won't help you become a citizen of Canada.

Determine your eligibility for citizenship – Canadian Armed Forces

The Government of Canada recognizes the importance of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and their commitment to defending the values and interests of Canada. Current and past members of the CAF can apply for citizenship using a fast-track process.

The fast-track provision will accelerate citizenship for permanent residents serving in the CAF and foreign military members on exchange with the CAF. Those who have served for one year less than the standard residence requirement for citizenship may qualify for a grant of citizenship, provided they meet all other requirements. This means the length of time you served in the Canadian Armed Forces is used instead of the length of time you lived in Canada.

This application process can be used by anyone who:

• is or was a member of the CAF; or
• a foreign military member who is or was attached or seconded to the CAF.

To be eligible, you must meet all of the standard conditions to apply for citizenship except for the time you have lived in Canada. Instead, you must have completed three years (1,095 days) of service in or with the CAF in the six years (2,190 days) immediately before the date of your application. You must also have met your personal income tax filing obligations in three taxation years that are fully or partially within the six years immediately before the date you apply. If you were a foreign military member attached or seconded to the CAF, you do not need to be a permanent resident and you do not need to meet the tax filing obligation to apply.

If you are no longer a member of the CAF, you must have been released honourably. If you were released other than honourably, you are not eligible to apply using the fast-track process.

You are able to count your time as a Regular or Reserve Force member regardless of if you were being paid as a full-time member or not. You can count time without pay as long as you were still a CAF member.

You're the autist here if you couldn't take that as sarcasm my boy. I live in Ontario, and I'm well aware of how fucking shitty everything is, and even worse, how fucking terrible our unions here are to boot.

To the contrary, the compromising mainstream leftist parties are already strong and will win the elections here anyways, meanwhile we need to strengthen the ideologically pure parties. Who will lend their support to such parties but the anons of Holla Forums? You are just being redundant when you could be strengthening more pure forms of communism. Your proposal is akin to "ISIS new plan to destroy America, sit back and relax", like in that pic with the ISIS militant just sitting on his couch watching television. We must make the normies embrace hardline communism. They are already communist at heart; they just need to have the brainwashing stripped away so they can be opened to true and overt communism.

OY VEY SHUT IT DOWN(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

...

We need slick entryism of the NDP, I imagine much of the base is already angry about the failed centrist strategy pursued in the last election. Supporting these irrelevant fringe parties is pointless and marxism leninism has already been discredited in the eyes of Canadian by the Soviet experiment.

We should try and make the NDP market socialist without explicitly talking about socialism. They are already called the New Democratic party that originally meant economic democracy and we can make it mean that again.

Go ahead subverting the NDP to restore it to its original marxist purity (if only in doctrine, not in name or outward form). However, you should consider these smaller fringe parties as your backup plan, and not completely abandon them. There's no reason you can't work this at multiple angles and practice multi-party subversion and strengthening of overt marxism all at the same time. Don't limit yourself, there are options.

And your comment is still autistic.

This is pure tankie delusional fantasy.
People embrace Bernie Sander's, not some teenage Leftypol edgelord.

soon you will be on a witch hunt and ban half this board, heh

oh and he's using the same flag! what an idiot, using the same flag across multiple IPs!

heh

Who is the Bernie Sanders of Canada then that I should be throwing my support behind? Btw, all my friends IRL are hard-line marxists who never vote at all (and who've actually fought in conflicts around the world, risking their lives as soldiers for marxist cause). They won't even vote for the marxist-lenninist party. It tires me… this apathy…

stop being gay

the CPC-ML is actually a bretty gud in all honestly but this is a shit thread

youtube.com/watch?v=XgqdWYTYfuQ

You do it better then. Every marxist I know is politically apathetic – and falls into two categories. One; those content with letting things be, like the guy in this thread who says "no" to ideological purity and puts his hopes in the mainstream parties. Two; those who are very discontent, but who still won't vote for our only real marxist party, instead preferring complete disengagement from the political process.
