Almost all leftist voted because Clinton is corrupt to the point that leftists would rather vote for a right-wing candidate who himself is a rich businessman. Sure, Trump is wealthy, upper class, and reaps the profits of other people's work, but he isn't corrupt. I think Trump got elected mostly because of how fucked up America's elections work, with only their 2 party system and not actually representative of the actual demographic.

In the end, I think political porky is worse than economical one. Trump clearly stated that he is not a career politician and his campaign is funded by nobody but himself. He's also not a dictator, so he can't just go "lol lower my taxes or you're fired" without getting approval from the Congress first, and he probably won't since political establishment hates his guts.
