Il y a sérieusement des joueurs de rôles ici qui y croient?

I'm listening to his comitium from yesterday. He's expressive and can summon the rights feelings to move the people. But the problem is that he's speaking to the cultured people in Paris, which are better off than most people in France, even if they feel menaced. With the things that he's saying, I doubt he will get even the 5% of the votes, since he's proposing extremist marxist constitutional measures, while not giving any concession the little people care for.
I would like seeing him touring in provinces, I doubt they'd be very moved by his proposals to inscribe in the constituion abortion and assisted suicide, or that they'd care about making what is now private right, public right. He has to step it up

After all he's a bourgie who cares about bourgie hobbies, and he seems terribly ill-informed about real industry

You're taking the piss right?

...

Ça va le fauteuil? Pas trop inconfortable?

encore ce vieux scam d'extrême droite ?

Who is he and why should I be on his side?

He is the french equivalent of Bernie Sanders : pro-worker left and against idpol

I just learned today on Holla Forums that people in the 93rd department were better off than people in downtown Bordeaux or Toulouse.
The more you know!

user I… He represents bourgies fighting to maintain the bourgie way of life they had when they still were productive

Any links of him debating.

Link to his party?

What does this have to do with anything?

look at the faces of the empovireshed people of the banlieu, manifesting for their saviour Mélenchon!

I'm sorry user, it's good to be optimistic and positive, but he's not what you make him to be, he's just a liberal bourgeois struggling to keep the wealth his class once had without earning it anymore

Are you picture supposed to represent the relationship these people have to the means of production or something? Because those who are not students there are definitely proletarians.

French hard leftist, ignore the Bernie bullshit: he is further left in his ideas than Corbyn.

I can get behind this guy, and he seems to have pretty decent charisma, but what are his chances of being elected, practically speaking.

more like librarians.
Their parents were likely proletarians who rose to little bourgeois positions through their hard work under the economic boom, and their son and daughters now expect their social position and employment to be safeguarded by sake of their bourgeois values

Confirmed for being yet another tankie with no idea of Marxism

wow look, I triggered a self-righteous french petit bourgeois

Not an expert on French politics but from polls it appears Melenchon and Unsubmissive France (love the party name) was on an easy track to become the leading left-wing political party in France until the Socialist party picked left-populist socdem Hamon as party leader. Now Melenchon and Hamon are neck and neck. Doesn't look like he has a huge shot of becoming president but getting more votes than Hamon would be a huge boost to the Left.

Depends what you call left. Melanchon is a French patriot (as in a civic one) and is no-multiculturalist. He has also started to change his views on immigration after supporting more of it for a long time.

Zero chance. The winner will be Macron. A mix of Trudeau, Blair and Schröder. Expect more gay and gender rights, more immigration and more islam apologism mixed with economic deregulation and tax cuts for businesses.

If you don't speak French, don't bother.

Oh my…

Marx himself led a bourgois life. Your point? You need the leisure of a bourgois life to spare the time for politics.

...

But he did. He relied on the income Engels's family made from owning means of production.

Do you even know what class entails for socialists?

Bourgeois as in: believing in bourgeois ideology, taking part in bourgeois politics in order to be elected to an office in a bourgeois state. I don't care about Mélenchon's personnal class.

basically, everyone except the guy who lives in the woods, drinks morning dew and eats roots and berries is bourgeois

Where do you get this stupid idea from? Have you any idea what "bourgeois" means?

It's a dril reference

see

you clearly don't know who dril is and you need an education :)

what's the story behind it? are you saying this is fake?

I keep seeing this happen, like some neolib is the champion of the left.
Wilders lost, but it was like pat Buchanan losing to mitt Romney and his party actually gained seats.

But you had threads going "lets laugh at pol"

Excellent debate this evening

he made me kek pretty hard tbh.
the meme power seem to be on his side

I bet he will be the surprise of the elections

I doubt he'll become president. But here's hoping.

just passing over the PSwill be a good new

hard to say, i think he may have sucked allot of Macron's voters tonight.
i don't think LePen lost any, but again, the people who vote for her are spook, they don't really care about arguments.

Fillon did ok, but the man fucked up so bad previously its irreparable.

Macron is the one who fucked up the most, he was stuttering, babbling and had no real political line.

Melonch was like a comfy Pepe, he was just there for the lulz and seemed extremely comfortable.

you clearly don't you retard

Ça va.

I've heard bits and pieces about the recent debate, and from what I've gathered, he did exceptionally well. If he can come shove Hamon out of the way as being the proper, Leftist choice, he could probably pull something off. Ya never know.

so what's his platform compared to the socdem guy pushing UBI?

would own if the socdem said "fuck it" and resigned and PS couldn't fill the candidacy (idk, possible?). the left vote consolidates around melenchon, the blair clone gets squeezed out and you get commie vs fascist 2nd round

… says the guy who thinks literally everyone is a bourgeois.

nigga what the fuck are you talking about he's a socdem at best

He could have seized the opportunity of universal basic income's rising popularity but he openly refused to.

Stupid move.

Or maybe he thinks this is a bad idea?

He could never resign, if he does that, it's like he's saying his party has become irrelevent.
I never really listened to him before last night, he really sounds like a betafag.

No on really cares about that anyway

Not a socdem.

Hollande is a socdem. JLM spent his entire campain critizing his reign.

Rising popularity as a means to destroy the welfare state, yes. Any form of UBI that gets pushed through by the SocDems won't be remotely leftist.
