Is there even a confirmation on Collins' political views outside of Irish Nationalism? Fine Gael uses him a lot, I'm not sure sure he's exactly the "Lenin of Ireland"
Padraig Pearse was also a right winger who believed in Ireland being an ethnostate too from what I remember.
James Connolly was the Lenin of Ireland tho, Lenin even wrote about him and Larkin and referred to the rising as a good example of the European struggle against imperialism.
