Chinese.
Whatever the working people around you speak.
dialectical materialism
This. Learning languages is bourgeois and neocolonial as fuck.
中文
the only bourg language is latin
Yeah, my mother was half dielectric material so it comes naturally for me
I'm so fucking glad I didn't fall for this meme. And believe me, it was a tumblr meme.
you should know English
hope you are memeing, but Lenin translated many works of Marxist literature into Russian
Arabic. The next socialist revolution will also be an Islamic one.
What's your one language?
Esperanto is the most internationale of laguages
…what do you think it is?
Chinese?
Arabic,Kurdish and maybe Russian.
Esperanto
I really wish esperanto would have a future.
But right now it seems so fucking useless with such dim perspectives that I literally can't force myself to learn it.
Probably Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Possibly Esperanto since that's growing with the Internet, Arabic, and Kurdish.
Mi estas esperantisto car mi satas la kulturo de la lingvo. Por /esperanto/ estas malrapide do vi povas paroli al mi en esperanton se vi volas.
English
Arabic and Spanish.
And still is western bullshit with a few touches of asian stuff.
Esperanto is a legacy of imperialism, useful language, but still internationalist propaganda is bullshit.
My ideal would be something like euskera. Plenty of nice peculiarities (like no gender) and isolated to other languages even if still in the middle of europe.
I'm not OP but I can tell you that's the wrong answer.
itt
Kial vi ne uzas ĉapelojn aŭ almenaŭ X-sistemon?
Mi ne scipovas
Probably Spanish, followed by Chinese. I flunked languages but I'm considering relearning Spanish just in case.
glorious japanese.
Linukso?
Who the fuck is unironically proposing Kurdish? No! It's a language spoken by fucking nobody outside of a small area in the Middle East, and each and everyone of its speakers speak languages with far more speakers, be it Turkish, Syrian Arabic, Iraqi Arabic or Farsi.
t. fatburger who's assblasted he cannot understand his Mexican neighbours and needs a way to justify his intellectual laziness within the framework of the Socialist movement
The fuck?
>Esperanto is the most European of languages.
FTFY
Worst idea ever. Do you have any idea how complicated Euskera is?
Jes mi uzas Linukso
Provu tajpi ^ kun "shift" kaj poste tajpu g.
The language of the most revolutionary society on Earth.
Kurdish.
Ok tell me a couple of reasons why should someone learn esperanto?
I love the idea of the international language that isn't some imperialist anglo-saxonic.
But I just don't see the use and future of it.
It's lots of fun.
How so?
Where can even use it?
Spanish and Kurdish
more like qtsh
* It's easy.
* Makes learning other languages more easy.
* Good for brain health.
* Connects you to an international group of people that transcend boarders.
Personally I learned Esperanto because Holla Forums thinks it's a conspiracy.
Okay, you seem very very misinformed. Esperanto is not 'from' anywhere. It's an invented language. Individuals all over the world speak it.
Linguist here. This question makes no sense inherently. But like others have said, probably Kurdish.
how do you know?
But I already know english for this? It's also kinda easy and I don't need any "local" languages right now anyway.
I know about it's history, I ment "where" as in some community, not a geographical place as is.
Like every time I consider learning it I get an existential crisis about learning a language that I'm literally never going to use in my life.
Chinese, when the revolution breaks in the centers of western imperialism you'll need to make contact with the PLA in mainland China for support.
just kidding lol, the west has no revolutionary potential nor has China anything to gain from it
Many cities have esperanto groups and there are regular international meet-ups. There's also this: en.wikipedia.org
It's a great excuse to meet new people.
Because he's TYPING
IN
ENGLISH
Learn alphabets, (cyrillic, then greek, then whatever) then learn roots and linguistics, congrats: now you know every language.
Yep, I tried to study when I was youger (and liked the basque radical punk rock scene). Still, no matter how stagnant the gramar nazis are, proficiency in language has never been an impediment for comunication.
This.
And if you want to reach people over the world, then you must know English, since it already is the world's lingua franca. This is coming from a non-native speaker of English.
You do realize where does the term "lingua franca" came? I don't really care about changing the language, but just because the english is the most used language, doesn't mean it can't be other.
I would actually want some neutral language to become the new lingua franca instead of english, maybe esperanto even.
But sadly this is how things go right now so we have to deal with it.
Actually incase US and UK would distance themselves from Europe and if they start to stagnate after a while, I can see something happening in this regard, but not soon probably.
German obviously.
Esperanto
You fuck
Saluton samideana komarado!
Oh fuck off. Just because it's vocabulary is European because that's all Zamenhof knew and he wasn't autistic enough to create words doesn't mean it's Western or imperialistic.
European languages already ARE international, considering almost everyone partially speaks at least one. But that's irrelevant considering Esperanto is designed to be logical and easy to learn, not uniquely European.
Estas multaj klavaroj en linukso. Iru al "keyboard", kaj estos "international" unu, kaj ankaŭ "esperanto" unu.
Absolutely this.
What do you mean by this?
Come learn 中文 with me!
how about you take off that flag until you read bookchin
"Most revolutionary society" is spooky as hell
...
Hey, if there were some "revolutionary international esperanto movement" with anything behind it I would consider learning esperanto and joining it, but right now it's just not worth it to use semi-useless language with dim perspectives. I just can't outweight my laziness.
Well like the artifical one. Of couse their "neutrality" is maybe arguable, but still better than a national language.
When did he do that?
You do realize that studies have shown that most Asians actually prefer Esperanto to English when given the option right. And not only that, but if I remember correctly there are actually more Asian Esperantists than Europeans
I don't really care, if people start speaking espe-meme, I'll learn espe-meme, I concede is easier that all the other globalist languages. What I loathe is the internationalist pretentions on another western language, just drop the facade.
Well it's better than nothing, isn't it?
Let's get at least one more or less "neutral" artifical language going first and then decide on how we can make it better.
Esperanto is good not because it's some perfect language, but because it's the only one that has any potential at this point.
I'm not sure if some perfectly neutral language is even possible tbh.
or learn 日本語 instead
共産党 will rise again!
Like I said, I don't really care. If I could pick a new language for people to learn, I certainly pick a more interesting one. I mentioned euskera (or basque) before, from the neurolinguistic side, I certainly am curious on how the collective culture will react on the lack of gender, but you can pick another like the hopi without distinctions on future and non-future.
japanese
faggot
There was just a huge story published about Japan having way too many jobs for its population. Learn Japanese and go there.
Might as well learn ithkuil and be like the 3rd person to speak in it, although I'm not sure anyone, even the creator can actually speak in it..
Simply untrue. The only reason it might be slightly easier to learn for Westerners is because they're already recognize some of the vocabulary, but considering most people know some European language at least partially, they'd also receive that benefit.
Well, at guess if you admit you're just being lazy then that's all that can be said.
Esperanto is an alien language to everyone! That's the point, in having a neutral easy language for everyone to learn so that no one has to learn the difficult, non-neutral language of someone else. Instead of someone in China learning English or someone in American learning Mandarin, they both learn Esperanto and everyone saves time and everyone is on an equal linguistic footing.
Basque isn't designed to be simple, easy to learn, and completely regular. Besides, Esperanto doesn't have gender either unless you choose to explicitly add it.
Well if at some point the benefits of esperanto would overweigth my laziness threshold, then it will be the time to learn it.
Find me literally one Latin speaker who didn't go to a private school
In Amerikkka: Spanish
Asia: Chinese
Europe: Difficult to tell… Spanish, Russian, German, Ukrainian, Swedish or Greek. Are among the best bets since these are turbulent places rn.
If Sweden is turbulent I don't know what your idea of stability is
Seems like you swallowed the esperanto pill, go read some actual linguistics.
t. Noam Chomsky
And most westerners would prefer mandarin to Cantonese, doesn't make mandarin easy for them
I probably know more about linguistics than you. You've given nothing except incredibly vague criticisms of Esperanto reflecting a complete lack of understanding of it. English is an analytic language, Mandarin is an isolating one, and Esperanto is an agglutinative one. Literally the only advantage a European would have in learning Esperanto is already knowing some of its vocabulary; its grammar would be as alien to them as it would be to a Mandarin speaking person. Esperanto is easy for anyone to learn, since many of the features that make a language difficult to learn, like its spelling and grammatical irregularity, its superfluous and complex grammar, and so on are all absent.
Yes, he gave a bad example, because Esperanto isn't just preferable to learn compared to English, it's easier to learn than any other language.
Japanese. Even revolutionaries need to fap.
...
esperanto is an ugly cultureless bug people language. english should be the world language
...
Hey look singular examples of ugly anglos. I wonder how many of these we could pull up for mestizos? Probably more? Yes indeed. Lol the Anglo-Saxons are superior to mestizos in almost every way except the women have way less ass and sass. Spaniards are the one's you want to compare to Anglos and despite again having an edge with women, they are inferior to Anglos. You should have shown beautiful Russians or Germans. Spanish is much better as a world language than Esperanto. English is the best language on Earth, provides the most room for vocabulary variance and stratifies its users along a gradient of speaking levels. I don't want bug people speak where i can't distinguish myself from my fellow bug men
The world will be multi-polar in the near future, with many different ascendant languages. Pick the one spoken by people closest to you.
