Do anyone speaks bellarussian around here? i don't get anything.

Another maidan huh? ok

I want to believe but after maidan I'm really suspicious of mass movements with no overt political demands. "The government is a parasite" while not inaccurate strictly speaking is a phrase that signifies nothing but neoliberal anti-politics. Let's hope for the best tho

It's cia payed protester like the ones in Ukraine.
Lukashenko is a comrade btw

Putin is as much a tyrant as the US president, don't be too spooked to see that

nice meme. Sure he might not be a leftist but he is miles ahead of any western leaders

Gee I wonder who could be behind this grassroots demonstration.

wow is someone overcompensating i wonder

You seen the Romanian protests? "We want these corruption-enabling laws taken down. Okay, now we all the Red Plague oops we mean the socdem government to resign". Not suspicious at all.

...

Russia and Belarus are our best chances of bringing back communism

Not really. Dunno about Belarus, but the CPRF is pretty reactionary.

Lukashenko's only redeeming trait is that he's against neoliberalism, that doesn't make him a leftist.

No I haven't. How did it turn out?

Just like that. There were some admittedly scummy laws the socdem government was trying to pass, the people protested and the government gave up. But then the protests continued without much reason other than demanding the entire socdem government resign just because. And yes, they actually called limp-wristed, cleanly-elected socdems Red Plague. The protests fizzled out by now, but for a while it was close to becoming another Euromaidan farce.

What can Holla Forums do to inspire leftist revolution in Belarus?

Leave it to a Nazbol to make an absolutely awful post. BTW - your buddies on Holla Forums wouldn't even accept him as a good nationalist seeing as how he's selling his country out to China faster than even African dictators do.

What kind of random-ass examples are those? Half were killed by sectarianism, Cambodia and Burkina Faso were just straight up Marxist-Leninist, and Yugoslavia was essentially an even crappier version of the other tankie states with massive unemployment and still no worker control.

It's a pretty major redeeming trait though, considering he prevented the total societal collapse and seizure of all wealth by oligarchs that happened in Russia et al.

There are no actual socdem parties in Romania. They're all the same oligarchs hiding under different political ideologies. The socdem party you're talking about has numerous ties to Russia, not to speak of the fact that they're easily the most corrupt party in the country.People here are super leftist altough they don't even know it.The only problem is that most romanians end up leaving their country as soon as they get the chance regardless of the fact that they're middle or lower class or they're just fucking gypsies. This causes mass brain-drain due to all the young people getting the fuck out.

By 2020,30% of romanian citizens will be living outside of national borders.

This is the country where neoliberalism was the most effective at dismantling any economic protectionist laws after the iron curtain fell.

Plus,if it makes you feel any better to know:only cityfolk voted for the "centrist",not-so-corrupt parties. All the poor fucks (which make up most of the population )voted for the "social-democrats" because they promised a slightly larger minimum wage.

Now that they're a majority in the parliament all they will do is syphon EU and government money into their pockets untill the end of days.

Capitalism was a mistake; it's nothing but trash.

Yep

What can Holla Forums do to inspire a revolution in Belarus?

Well shit, I thought Romanian socdems were at least the borderline-liberal, well-intentioned idiot kind.

What's this about then?

All jokes about ">Holla Forums doing something" aisde, everyone's at a loss as to how to resurrect the left in Eastern Europe, because rather understandably, a lot them associate it with imperialism. Not to mention the fact that, if socialism did come back there, it would probably be in the same shitty form that was torn down to begin, sort of like a residual meme or something. A specter haunts Eastern Europe and all that.

The only measure I can think of – I can't call it a solution at all, just a first step – would be a complete public image/marketing/branding makeover. We live in an age where the image has increasingly more power than the object, so for good or worse, we would have to be very, as marketeer scum might say, message-conscious. Make clear we're against old Soviet autocracy and censorship, while still demanding a clean break with private property.

Maybe I'm being idealistic, but well, it's an idea.

Pardon my skepticism but that reminds me of comrades who say that most burgers are leftist/comrades but don't even know it.

In the abstract you could say that the majority of the world working class is communist but doesn't realize it and make a true statement, most people indeed voice some "Woke" opinions from time to time. The question is which kind of consciousness is dominant bourgeois false consciousness or proletarian consciousness?
