If you want to bring down a mod team the right way to do it isn't a raid.

What you need to do is systematically message people who post to r/socialism (using a tool to keep track so nobody gets messaged twice) explaining how bad the modteam is. Keep in mind the goal is to convince people and don't go all autistic about the feminists. Instead harp on them being fine with capitalists and if you mention idpol at all leverage idpol against them (I left years ago when the idpol nonsense got popular but whatever they're doing that manages to make them even more white and more male, banning women for being too girly (IE catgrildrawgirl) is a good start).

I'm betting mods will start shadowbanning (this has been done before against reddits version of pollacks but 'muh feminism' changes all the fucking rules with the admins) so check for shadowbans regularly.

There needs to be a viable alternative sub to point posters to (which is ????). So you gotta coordinate with reditors to make that actually happen.

And the people who spout it are inevitably the most genuinely fucking ablist cockwaffles who encourage the oppression of the 'crazy' via the sheer volume of ignorance on hand (see 'mansplaining', which demonizes compulsive autistic behavior that shouldn't be encourage but doesn't deserve a tar and feather treatment either).

Can their moderation team be infiltrated? With good intentions of course. I don't use Reddit so I don't know how difficult this would be.

The easiest way to turn people against r/soc is simply to highlight the pure irresponsibility and malice of the mods. Things like 'I don't know who the fuck Murray Bookchin is but anyone with his flair can get banned' and 'I love an easy ban'. They are constantly being unprofessional assholes to anyone who displeases them, you could easily compile a huge list of these incidents.

It can be infiltrated but unless you take over as head moderator you can never go against the will of the head-fash.

You have no idea how sophisticated a system of censorship Reddit is. If you do it within the sub they can prevent other people from seeing what you post but leave it visible to you so you don't know it got shot down. Even set up autosilencing of comments based on keywords that they'll then review and make visible only if it doesn't go against them. IE any mention of 'bookchin' would get flagged, then shown once they confirm its not anti mod-team. Any attempt to appeal to a mod tea creates a star chamber where the mods can secretly argue against you but you can't see what they're saying in order to rebut them.

The PM system is the only way, because then only the admins can control it, and there aren't enough of them, they have other duties, aren't as insane, and they all live in sanfran so if need be you can use their shared sleep schedule against them by leveraging euros and NEETs.
