Like at the end he whines (slowly) and in the middle he chastises (slowly) Unruhe for drinking Hennessy, which I guess he thinks is expensive, and buying a $30 bottle of liquor is hypocritical for jason, but would be a revolutionary act for a first-wordist. That was really what he thought was a masterpiece argument that would stump Jason, that he spent $30 on cheap cognac instead of sending $30 to the Third World. also some innuendo about "what percentage of your patreon funding is going to 3rd world terrorists, you hypocrite?"

His most recent tweet is a RT of this. The "when's men's day" thing ought to have potential for pointing out the stupidity of having a day to celebrate a gender and leading to a discussion about why it's no longer called working women's day, but the left has problems with seizing opportunities.

He's criticising accelerationism as a mass political program and he's right. People will never be consciously accelerationist in the first world in any significant number.

Like he said, you're never going to convince the average worker to be an accelerationist because they won't sabotage their immediate interests in the hope of sparking socialist revolution. In fact if any mass party were to take this stance they would be easy fodder for the right to blame the decline in living standards on.

Accelerationism doesn't need to be a mass movement. At any given time if a person is faced with the choice to either hasten the collapse or postpone it, the accelerationist would choose to hasten. Even a small effect is still an effect and could reduce the amount of time people have to suffer under capitalism. Not to mention the faster capitalism collapses the faster we stop ruining the ecosystem harder and harder.

His videos are great. To be honest, the worst thing about him is that some of his jokes come off as incredibly forced. It's not like I agree with everything he says but I don't find any of them repulsive, they're respectable.

I think his persona is a little dishonest though. I remember on a stream he did a few months back, Gita read a gulag joke in the stream and said that it was incredibly tasteless and Hbomb agreed with her. However, on his tumblr, he assigned someone talking about circumcision the gulag twice, and he follows several tanks on twitter (BlackAutonomist being the one I'm most familiar with, someone who does the whole "when our time comes" larp every few hours.)

Except that accelerationism doesn't require this and this critique fails on two premises.
1. The working class in America and elsewhere in the first world demonstrably CAN be made to vote against their own interests
2. The requirement that they worsen conditions "*on purpose* to lead to socialism" is ridiculous and wholly unnecessary

He'd gotten messages misinterpreting the point of the video, and he took it down because he thought he did a bad job. Since then I've heard him say on ask.fm and on streams that he basically disagrees with her main argument feminism but that her videos are still useful, and that with all of the GG shit around her that he doesn't have an effective way to criticize her in his usual format.

As says it has little to do with ethical consumption, but with doing what it takes to actually get some decent games under the godawful system that is capitalism.

I've ended up agreeing with almost all of them, but while he sometimes teeters on trying to make his thoughts appear objective with the Bayonetta video, I don't think that matters if you just take everything as his thoughts and whenever he seems serious you just remove a few grains of salt.
