If I'm being honest, I wouldn't mind a games console existing under socialism. While PC gaming is good and all, there's a lot of people who like to keep them separate for various reasons, myself included (just because I prefer having the UI tooled around gaming, a dedicated achievement system, collecting physical games, etc).

Just being realistic about it though, there would be no consoles under socialism, they're purely a capitalist or at least market phenomenon. A games console would be a computer for the living room. The problem with consoles is the individual architectures and such, under socialism everything would be cross platform compatible, because it would be one and the same platform.

There's no problems with villages and such, but suburbs have been specifically designed with a "logical" perspective in mind, they just fucking suck at it.
