I'm talking about the specific subset of people who just get mad because (for example) they are a little above the income threshold for getting the Medicaid expansion from the ACA and then get forced to buy a useless insurance plan with high premium and higher deductibles, while people poorer than them get Medicaid for free.

If you think that the "someone poorer than me is getting free healthcare while Obama made me buy a useless insurance coverage" resentment and the "someone that is not their family is getting government benefits and that is unacceptable" resentment aren't related at all then I don't really know what to say.

If you want to attract all demographics you need a proper centralized organization that contains people from all demographics, period. You need to use social media, if you must, to directly target people who are culturally and economic part of their communities and smart enough to run shit and communicate ideas, and get them in charge of your organization's chapter there. And unless you have a centralized organization that can pay them or at least fund their activities don't even waste your time, because otherwise you'll only get dumb college students who think blocking traffic and interrupting people's brunch will stop capitalism and everyone there will hate you
