Realistically though, communism is far from asexual: it's been advocating for sexual rights and liberation since before fascism was even conceived. The difference is not that that communism is asexual in either its message or imagery, but rather it does not include the fetishization of traditional gender roles. It has plenty of beefy men brimming with potential sexual energy depicted in its works, but they simply are not sold as serving a role that is explicitly conforming to the abstract idea of a "male identity". Likewise, there are more than enough depictions of strong or dainty but still both beautiful women portrayed in leftist imagery, but not selling them as explicitly integrated into some abstract "feminine identity."
