They're yearly in my state, as the climate's pretty stable and there's cheap land in the middle of nowhere they can permanently rent. Took forever to actually get into though since after a ways the freeway ends and becomes a two lane piece of shit (made worse by festival traffic cutting off an entire lane), and it wound up being faster to go a longer way around back home since so many people were leaving at once and traffic the way we'd come was slowed to a crawl (and would have required a u-turn some miles down the road).

Here's the thing…
It's not even economically viable to upgrade a toaster just to play the definitive version of the same game you'd get on a console. The exclusives aren't really worth it anymore. There aren't any games on the PC that I really drool for anymore, that absolutely can't be on my playstation. Slightly better textures, more foliage and a slightly increased framerate doesn't justify the cost it would take to upgrade my toaster. I can't play anything made beyond 2012 on it and my PS4 only cost me 175 dollars.
It's just not worth it. I really don't get the PC master race meme and the people who still perpetuate it are detrimental to actual video game discussion because the outside world to them simply doesn't exist. Alot of them don't remember what it was like to have an original Nintendo or Sega Genesis. They seem to believe gaming only ever existed on PC, and while it was true that PC gaming was once an experience you couldn't replicate on a console, it just doesn't hold true anymore.
Maybe if there were more games exclusive to PC it would make sense to upgrade the toaster to be able to play them, but there's just no reason to as it is.
