Why is a capitalistic society bad?

Why is a divided society a bad thing? Yeah, you got some poor people. Yeah, you got some very rich people. Yeah, the world isn't fair - get over it. The reality is that there are going to be people willing to work harder than others. There are going to be people that are smarter than others. There are going to be people that are simply luckier than others. As long as you aren't restricting the general public's opportunity to access these same acts of God, I see no reason why bad luck or misfortune should be grounds for socialism. America gives people the opportunity to be more powerful than someone else. That is the type of society the country was built on and like anything - it has its advantages and disadvantages. Why is this a bad thing? Is there actually an argument to be made or is it just unlucky and unfortunate people posturing to improve their lives through government intervention because they can't do it on their own?

Sorry if this sounds like a loaded question or a troll - it isn't. I am just a retard when it comes to typing out my thoughts

It can provide for everyone, but porky doesn't want it to.

Why? If something is bad it should be changed. America doesn't reward the hardworking, it rewards the children of the elite and those who are willing to grind others into the dirt.

That's putting aside the fact that capitalism is destroying the planet and soon it will collapse under its own weight.

...

It destroys culture, creates crisis, hampers inovation, creates giant social problems raging from mass incarceration, drug epidemics and the associated war against drugs, ecological destruction to massive psychological problems.

The system wastes a lot of human potential by not being fair at all.

You are conflating government regulation with capitalism. Everything you described is a result of incorrectly applied government intervention - except for the drug epidemic which is just a result of retards voluntarily putting drugs into their own bodies

...

You kind of argued with yourself and lost there, friend. And leftism doesn't always rely on government intervention. Join the anarkiddies ranks, comrade

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs

The structure of capitalism means repeated crises that bring society to the brink of collapse. Personally I am somewhat fond of human civilization and would rather not play Russian roulette on a global scale every dozen years or so. That's just me, you may disagree.

first of all kys
After doing that realise that capitalism will corrupt allways and that "free" markets are only a small and not even an important part of the capitalist system. Restricting the "free" market is natural to capitalist structure.

individualist bullshit, sage for posting in an autistic lolbertarian bait thread

And? So what? That doesn't mean fairness as a principle is unsound. Or should we eliminate umpires and referees and reinstitute a tiered legal system while we're at it?

PS lurk more

You want people to access acts of God, and capitalism strictly precludes that pretty much every possible way.

Why are capitalist apologists such cucks?

That's right. So when some people are tired of a crappy system and want to bring about change, you just have to accept that things aren't fair and then proceed to get over it.

tyuitui

I want this as a bumper sticker for when the guillotines come out

Why is a divided society a GOOD thing? Yeah, you got A SHITLOAS OF poor people. Yeah, you got ALMOST NO very rich people. Yeah, the world isn't fair - BE A CUCK AND ACCEPT YOU SHIT LIFE. The reality is that there are going to be people FORCED to work harder than others. There are going to be people that HAVE BETTER EDUCATION. There are going to be people that are simply luckier than others. As long as you aren't restricting the general public's opportunity to access these same acts of God LIKE THE SYSTEM DOES ALL THE TIME, I see no reason why bad luck or misfortune should be grounds for socialism WHICH IS TOTALY WHAT MARX AND OTHER SOCIALISTS WROTE ABOUT ARMRITE. America gives people NO opportunity to be more powerful than someone else. SLAVERY is the type of society the country was built on and like anything - it has its advantages and disadvantages. Why is this a GOOD thing? Is there actually an argument to be made or is it just unlucky and unfortunate people posturing to improve their lives through government intervention because they can't do it on their own?
Sorry if this sounds like I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SOCIALISM IS ABOUT AND SHOULD READ ABOOK or a troll - it isn't. I am just a retard.

meritocracy =/= capitalism.

You don't seriously believe that billionaires actually worked a billion times harder than people in Africa, struggling to survive?

Just go outside your house and look at those who have to sleep on the streets.

That is capitalism you retard.

i'm not necesseraly against capitalism in theory, i'm against it in practice

lel

Because it will end the human race as a whole.

The endless accumulation of capital, the delegation of power away from the people and the relative immiseration of the workers all lead to an aliienated population that eventually rebel and cause instability. Thus second nature, or the social biosphere is upset and destroyed by it.

Beyond this is the fact that the very "grow or die" ethics that are applied to human beings, is also applied to nature and the natural biosophere, thus ensuring a ecological catastrophe that might kill us all, because no single private actor has any incentive to prevent our collective destruction.
