Left Alive (Front Mission 6?)

Lens flares aside, this looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty cool game, might even fill the Metal Gear hole left by Kojima. Really hope you can pilot the mechs at some point.

People have been smoking crack since 2007.

It's set in the Front Mission universe so it's probably a spinoff like MGR was to MGS. I don't know how much of the game is going to rely on stealth but from the shots I've seen, it looks like alot of it.

It sure is looking great heh

Yeah go away

It's actually just Metal Gear Solid, except you get to watch and fight more mechs…while not having your own. Unless you hijack one in a mission or something, but you don't get to keep it after the mission.

Yeah kill yourself, faggot. Show me 30 minutes of raw unedited gameplay and then we will talk.

That's piracy, user.

is that yoji shinkawa's art? is that the fox engine?

yes, no

What does this even mean?

Nothing, this game seems to be made on same engine FFXV is made.

bland, ugly, don't fit or blend together naturally with the rest of the map. They look rushed, cheap and of low quality.

He seems to be a one-trick-pony like Kojimbo.

Well that's his signature artstyle and he got hired to do mech designs, what did you expect?

Attached: Cover.jpg (600x600, 62.47K)

What is the deal with this game? I half expect some kojima ruse but they bothered to attach the game to front mission for whatever reason. Which is cool, I like wanzers but what the fuck is going on. It's like some half-thought dream game, "What if you were the ground soldier in fromt mission world despite it being all about the mechs"

At the very least, konami is doing a good job leaving the door open for MGS clones I guess.

Game could be interesting with the mechs and how you fight them. But it can also be a bland 3rd person shooter. Won't know until the game comes out.

I'm not saying that I have faith in Square to do anything right with any of their series, but come the fuck on. You people are acting like this is the first time the series has ever experienced a genre shift, and unlike Evolved, this honestly doesn't look THAT bad, as if there's at least one person on the team who gives a shit. Obviously we should stay away from it as it will inevitably be ruined long before launch with microtransactions, but a change in genre in a fucking SPINOFF is the least of anybody's worries.

Sage for not actually discussing the fucking game

Gun Hazard is entirely in a mech though. It's just an action platformer. It'd be like having a pokemon game where you don't actually interact with pokemon in a meaningful way.

Every single post above yours is discussing the game or people involved in making it. What is your problem user?

Because making a spin off when we didn't have new mainline game in 20 years is always a good idea.
Also gun hazard is a 2-3 hours game, when you can spend up to a hundred in any numbered FM. More in FM5.

He is saging himself for being off-topic you retard.
Have i need to remind you that sage is not a fucking downvote?

But he is discussing the game though.

That's just exaggerating, it doesn't look that bad in comparison to regular indie games.

He is talking about people being negative for the single fact that the game is not the main genre of the series and people dissing the game even before we know anything outside of that.

That's not discussing the game, hell, i don't we can even discuss the game anyway seeing as we don't know shit about it.

Don't derail threads with autistic ramblings please

Turn based games are RNG infested trash. TPS is infinitely better in comparison.

It's not too RNG like Fire Emblem.

I agree with you entirely, that's precisely why I only care about FM franchise of all turn-based games.
Because most used weapons are in there are shotguns and machineguns, shit like "65% hit" usually results in 65% of pellets hitting the target, rather than fucking missing in point blank with a goddamn 2 meters long mecha shotgun.
So both you and enemies are almost always guaranteed to hit, so you're encouraged to actually be tactical rather than rely on random.
More so in later games, as FM1 is still pretty fucking random.

WHY IS THIS NOT THE NORM

That's just random damage variance without any hit/accuracy check but phrased differently. Consider any rpg where heavier weapons are offset by a higher damage variance, without checking for accuracy it's identical.

why does his dick have lens flare?

Anyone else thought that these were MGSV screenshots for a secodn?

It's almost like they have no idea what people buy the game for.

This is a spinoff retard, get a grip.

Dropped.

>straight bakelite mag
Into the trash.

The straight mag is possible if it's 12 guage. Though I have never seen one in bakelite.

How fucking difficult is it to make a proper mech game, be it a action or strategy? Holy fucking shit, they could do it in the past, why the fuck is it so hard now?

I dunno how to feel about them falling into the open world survival meme, but this is a team of developers and designers that I'm pretty happy to hear are working together. I wouldn't say I'm hopeful, but since they aren't proposing co-op online play with persistent online worlds and other buzzwords, it might actually come together to be pretty okay.

I can only assume this is some sort of medical disorder, and joking aside I feel bad for the guy.

Never give money to Square.

Saiga mags still have a slight curve to them. If it was an AK-pattern shotgun the entire thing should be significantly chunkier - compare the mag to the size of his hand. It's also got an underfolder stock, which you wouldn't want on a shotgun, and a leaf sight that would be absolutely fucking useless on a shotgun.

He must be enjoying himself a bit too much out on the battlefield.

maybe it uses caseless ammo like the rifles in arma 3 :^)

I find it really funny people are mad over it going for a soldier v mechs scenario, since that's exactly what I've wanted since reading Dog Life Dog Style. Hell, I remember people have been clamoring for a normal soldier fighting mechs/combined arms game in general for ages.

Don't get too excited. He was only the designer for Arise, which probably had the least interesting designs. On the plus side he was responsible for MG4 and MGR. Probably the dude behind the Gecko, which is one of my favourite mech designs. Dude knows what he's doing, just don't expect any GitS stylings

Trust me, after about the 5th of consecutive orgasms time it starts getting painful. And after that point it fucks with your heart as well, after you start "dry heaving" because your body can't keep up, it's not a good feeling anymore.

I once porn-binged for an entire day to get my mind off of a tragedy. It was a bad idea. No a hospital was not involved. Should have just drunk a beer and went to sleep

I'm one of those people, I really wanna see infantry/mechs on the same field in more games

This is getting ridiculous

Attached: 2c591bf78aa04939.jpg (1280x445, 135.97K)

I just saved it straight from the game's steam page. Maybe it's just a renamed gif.

That is true but think about how much better that small change is compared to

Anyone feel like this will be pushed back till next year? They've showed next to nothing and it's supposedly released this year.
