Last thread I uploaded a Namaniku ATK artbook and said I was working on a new one. This is all from Murata Range's 4th artbook, Futurelog. Though he's a pretty iconic artist, none of his larger art books are uploaded anywhere besides the Last Exile and Spheres artbooks. Despite this one being around 250 pages, I'm actually almost finished with it and can be done with it today thanks to a clean debinding (glue strands aren't everywhere), barely any tears, a tone correction setting that is very accurate to the real image (something I found while scanning the ARK book), and found out better ways to clean debri and remove scratches from the scanner bed. With all those things simplified, there isn't much I have to edit now besides combining fold out pages in Gimp.

Still, I'm glad I could get my hands on an artbook like this. Murata Range is a god tier artist. He usually draws loli and vehicles.

What you saw was ATLUS having their own way with Fire Emblem while trying to make an idol spin-off game. It's barely related to FE and more for the Persona audience. But due to NoA's heavy censorship and terrible translation, it didn't do well in the states. Fire Emblem Echoes is considered much better than Awakening and Fates from what I've heard. I don't have much hope for the newer FE but I'll have to wait and see.

If they do go somewhere else, I don't know where that is and I can understand why they won't mention said place after seeing what happened to that community. I have found "OST - Gran Turismo - Soundtrack Collection (1998-2010)" in both FLAC and MP3 via QB's search feature with the zooqle addon installed. The feature (with most of not all of the public addons) has turned out to be very handy. Ok, so I have started working on this whole "anonymize yourself" thing, and I think I might have fucked up already by adding uMatrix to firefox. Particularly because I tried to download this and uMatrix is blocking all of the megas and other pages. Now, this is a huge problem for me, because I use mega a lot, especially for downloading pdfs (mostly books), and if uMatrix is gonna block that and other downloading sites, I'm gonna have a problem. Can one of you help me understand this better?

uMatrix isn't exactly a site blocker, it's a more automated and more involved version of the uBlock addon you're probably more familiar with. Its job isn't just to block everything coming from unwanted websites, it just blocks certain parts, like uBlock's element selector you should probably know about already, only this one can also get cookies and stuff that doesn't just appear as a visual part of the page. In most cases, this will block every part of every bad site. I think in the default configuration, it blocks first-party javascript by default. Either undo this setting, or whitelist sites for javascript and stuff on a case-by-case basis. I'd suggest the second since you'll often find that websites don't need javascript at all, therefore enabling it could only be harmful or unneeded, but unblocking all first-party javascript is probably more convenient.

Basically, just make the "scripts" square green in either the mega.nz row (and every other website that breaks), or just set it green in the first-party row and never worry about it again (until sites start breaking because of other things that are blocked by default)

OVA were very popular during the mid 80s to about the mid 90s. They still get made to this day but during that time they were approached sort of like demo reels or short stories. Meant to show what the studio or staff were capable of and often cherry picked "best of" bits from a manga.

What's going on with IGG? OP didn't mention anything beyond "shady".

People found some mining software in some of the releases and in the newer releases you can't delete the files that say this was released by IGG. Also there were a few instances of the IGG logo appearing in the game.

So my copy of the "Neptune Series Hyperdimension Visual Chronicle" artbook came in and damn is it glorious. It features game CGs, characters, monsters, SD characters, posters designs, daki images, and some concept art for the 4 Goddesses Online. I can't wait to scan it though it's going to take a while to complete due to how massive it is. Thankfully the spine isn't some heavy duty stuff that will make a mess. Even better is the lack of 2 page spreads that are a pain to scan. I'll most likely get most of it done on the weekend or next. No more will I have to deal with shit scans of official Nep art.

Use a sandbox or virtual machine, play the games in that sandbox or virtual machine only. If anything fucked is happening like sudden spontaneous CPU usage then immediately shut the sandbox down.

If you already bought it from GOG you only need to give your dad your installer, just put it up on the vola then give it to him.

Is that the main sign to look for? Just high CPU usage? Would it be using up the CPU even when the game isn't running?

Bitcoin miners cause high CPU usage when they're active, for other things you'd need access to your network logs and actually know what everything is first. Virtual machines and sandboxes allows you to simply just delete the everything in the sandbox and revert the changes and the open source virtual machine available allows snapshots and sandboxie is basically the "for idiots" version, and in a virtual machine only two specific types of viruses can fuck you but if you're infected with that you've got bigger problems to worry about then you personal information being leaked and being part of a botnet.

I actually spotted a hidden miner on my Win7 part some time ago
its hard to spot, and the only reason I saw something amiss was because my root system is in a 30GB only partition, and I noticed it being filled to the limit
so after some investigating I've noticed big files being generated on the temp folders, over and over again, another point was that the PC was being rather noisy when I was away

so what happens is that the miners wait for your PC to be idle so you don't notice the performance drop,
and it ramps up, either GPU or CPU I'm not sure, and of course probably high bandwidth usage as well
that was literally the only reason I worried about and installed a anti-virus (even though it was rather ineffective)

Does anyone have or know where I can find cracked Steam .so files for Linux? I can't find a cracked Linux game anywhere, Skidrow has a page but all the links are dead. Apparently there are a group called activated that crack Linux games but I can't find any of their releases.

Terraria, tmodloader only works with the Steam version, there was a conversion thingy but it's no longer being updated. So in order to use mods for the game I FUCKING OWN I need to pirate a steam version and crack it.

I've never played terraria but for any other game i have played so far you always could just manually copy&paste files into the directory,having to use some installer seems like the gayest shit to me

That is how tmodloader works. The issue is they basically made a modified executable to run mods, for some reason the GOG version of the executable works differently than the Steam version, so they can't simply strip out Steam library calls and call it a day. There's also some stupid paddy about piracy as well even though you can get a GOG copy of Terraria in 10 seconds flat from Skidrow or something.

Right, this is really old and really obsure and I don't remember the title, hence the trouble. Probably later 90's early 2000's. 2D top-down sprite based space game. I remember very little about it except for a few visuals and that it was (probably) freeware. Game was on PC iirc. Shields were one of the more distinctive visuals I remember looked roughly like pic related, a bunch of colored (animated?) rings. the map was ?quartered? into sections with some kind of laser gate barrier that damaged your ship if you didn't have some tech. You docked with planets when touching them, could "colonize" them if you had colonists on your ship. Multiple races and ship sprites to choose from iirc. Either on entering or exiting the main menu some kid or faggot or someone's voice thanked you for playing the game and told you to donate if you liked it. Planets had very simple sprites, and everything was pretty small- planets were like 16x16 and so was your ship, I think. I t h i n k the game might have started with an S like space something or star something but I can't remember.
It's killing me because I can't remember the name, the only contact I had with it was a kid I used to know when I was young who had it. Feel free to ask questions to help me solve this mystery.

You are free to download them yourself and find out if it's true or not. Just know that you should be very suspicious of said torrents/downloads. Also this question is asked every thread so I went ahead and found when the claims were originally made. They were made in the visual novel threads (you can find them in the archive) as people reported seeing bitcoin miners in their %appdata% folder. A few more claims after have come out and finally someone posted an image of an IGG banner in the game. Sadly, that image is gone (as seen in the third image) so I can understand if you take it with a grain of salt.

Your safest bet is to download them in a virtual machine and delete it if any problems come up.

I personally never had any problems with IGG.
Granted, my computer is constantly heating up nowadays but it is an old toaster and it had many heating problems in the past too.

All the games I got from them work though and the computer never goes slow, only occasionally with Waterfox when I keep it open for too long but even then, it only lags Waterfox, not the whole PC.

Anyone have a webm set of the Millia Wars DX animations? Most of the ones I found don't have sound or are missing many animations. Same with the one on Sad Panda. If there aren't any anywhere then I'll try to make them myself.

I've never come across them myself so I can't say. What did give me a red flag though I did come across a time where I tried to delete their link in a folder and got a warning about not deleting their stuff. It's a vore game that plays like Metal Slug. There are 4 characters and it's not bad. Some fun bosses and stages with some good sprite work. So you can enjoy it even if you aren't a vorefag. A would share the game but there's DRM in it that prevents me from doing so.

MWB latest version+updates does scan for bitcoin miners, but it's a pretty new field so I'm sure there's lots of stuff that slips by them.

Your best bet would be to monitor for suspicious outgoing connections, which is good for diagnosing all kinds of malware activity, really.

Miners don't generally run when anti-viruses do a scan, you have to catch it when it's running or by looking in places a Miner interacts with plus mysterious connections. You also have to use like 3-5 specialist anti-virus scanners and if you're unlucky it finds Trojans and maybe the Miner.
Viruses and Miners is why you should always keep a personal log of exactly when you installed everything and what is the "factory default" of your OS.

The swf extracted from the exe from dlsite seems to register as malware on some engines, surely a false positive. You can torrent the original thing, or not because it's malware apparently.

Finally finished making webms of every lewd animation in Millia Wars DX. That took much longer than I thought it would. I removed the background music and left the sound effects in. Unlike the ones I posted earlier, these are much more clear and the scenes are a little longer than before. The vore scenes include an X-ray and normal version and each are in a separate folder.
