Gaming fads of the past

Remember when Journalists called Facebook gaming the future of the video game industry?

Remember when Pokemon was one of the biggest things to ever happen and infested every area of popular culture?

I always preferred Utopia

remember when 2000 and 7 happened?

kind of is still, but
yeah, not so much of that anymore

Remember when bronies were considered the worst fandom to hit the internet?

Zynga's stock is still significantly lower than its IPO even after all these years.

They're still up there.

Remember wben Holla Forums was good?

fucking nope

ONE NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
TWO NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
THREE NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
FOUR NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
No, you're wrong, there is something wrong with you OP.

It was 2 years ago

agreed

Remember when the a laptop touchpad was the future of video game controllers?

I have to ask what kind of bubble you've been stuck in, because saying Pokemon isn't a big deal is just outright delusional. Even if you focus solely on the games (ignoring the massive amounts of generated content, anime, tv shows, movies, card games, products) they still rack up some of the highest sales figures.
A series can be popular without being good, if you're trying to virtue signal something.

I remember this unity facebook game that was super cool and wasnt grindy as hell which got neutered for reasons I never managed to find out, dont even remember the name of it

Oh, man…

...

I'm saying its a 20th as big as it was 20 years ago. It has penetration where it started, card games, video games and anime. The anime is incredibly small these days, the card game is a footnote and is even smaller than yugioh and magic, and even the games have lost a lot of their momentum with how they sequelize releases and end up making mainline games even the casual fans don't like.

I'm not interested if it's good or bad, I'm just providing an observation. I personally haven't played a pokemon game since gsc and have no interest in playing them again.

The seventh gen revitalized the sales of the franchise mostly thanks to Pokemon Go but its nowhere near as big it once was, it was actually getting less and less popular with each entry ever since the first gen came around.
vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Pokémon

ah yes, pokemon go, the mobile game that died in 2 weeks after nintendo and niantic failed to capitalize on it appropriately and actually get it to run. Classic game stores also saw a huge increase in sales for the old pokemon games due to pokemon go, new games not so much.

I thought it was common knowledge that, from worst to still bad, it was: fetishist furries, furries, superwholocks, homestuck, undertale, bronies, neofaggers, rick and morty fans, reddittors and 9gaggers.

That pic

Hwhut

I wonder how much this ad cost them

We should do something about unethical journalistic practices

...

Happy to hear people on here still have good taste in music.

Rammstein and Disturbed in every golden-era MMO PvP video

Step it up

CUM ON STEP IT UP

And every PVE video using Requiem For A Dream soundtrack.

One i'm glad died was that online pass bullshit.

All that did was kill multiplayer communities faster.

True Crime is neither crappy, gritty or about being a "gangster". You're a cop for crying out loud, you can go around town frisking everyone for drugs and other illegal goods and then busting their asses.

The True Crime games were glitchy but fun as shit.

Had fun fucking around with the built in cheat menu in NY.

Takes me back to the good old days

Overwatch.

Not to mention all the crazy magical stuff that happens in one of the story paths in the original. How can you look at a game where you take down a Best Korea army general in a hand to hand kung-fu fight in the best ending while surrounded by plane wreckage is beyond me.

as being gritty*

To this day I'll never understand why it was so popular.

My man.

I remember in 2009 how PC and console games would all die and be replaced by mobile games with microtransactions. Nothing you can do goyim, it's inevitable!

Digital card games you had to collect actual physical cards for.
Kart racing for every franchise.
Asking you to sign up to a newsletter after you install a game now it forces you to give up your personal information instead.
Movie tie-ins.
Split screen (pretty rare nowdays).
Gritty and edgy shit.
Brown and bloomy shit.
Chains on characters.
EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME!!!
Violence for violence' sake.
Fun adventures.

I read that and my brain registered it as those ironic "statedyear was 1500 years ago" shitposts, and then I remembered that 1998 really was 20 years ago.

Remember when we thought that games would keep improving with new generations of console?

Friendly reminder shit like this will never be popular again, and possibly isn't even being made again.

Which… happened. And?

good

tfw

Here, take endless microtransactions instead.

The Pokemon craze of the late 90s was insane. You couldn't go to any store without a pikachu or some random poke merch staring at you. I remember seeing stores opening up overnight that only sold pokemon cards and other pokemon stuff like stickers, plushies, and keychain. Of course once the craze was over they all went out business or converted to a tabletop gaming store before going out of business a few years later.

(checked)
Kinda. Still doesn't have the same feel to it though.

Am I going to regret asking what this is? I don't want to google it.

Lmao sucks to be you. Stop reading gaming journalism you idiot.

Fans of Supernatural, nu-Doctor Who and nu-Sherlock.
How new are you?
shit furfag ms-paint looking "inspired by Earthbound" RPG, that had an okay demo and then dropped the one interesting character in favor of Puns the Skeleton.

Oh come on thats not gorey, edgy, or nearly as unprofessional.
Also the dude wants money for it.

Thanks not new just have a autistic savant-like ability to block out things

I legit miss making fun of, pissing on, baiting and trolling bronyfaggots like I did from 2011 - summer of 2014. GG helped kill it which in a way was good as it gave me something productive to do but at the same time what I wouldn't give to revel in something as petty as a low-T nu-male going full sperg over a cartoon aimed at prepubescent girls one last time.

Good taste faggot.

Anyone remember things like Wildtangent or Big Fish?

Didn't people make a big fuss about Frustrat Birp being "truly BASED and redpilled"?

yes, but I don't think it was much more than a joke except a few idiots took it a bit far.

I hope you're right user. I couldn't fathom living in a world where people see shittily drawn birds as anything more than shittily drawn birds. I'm glad it's not like those stupid yellow fuckers on the TV.

When everyone loved zombie games.

Remember Wii60?

The good old days of Newgrounds after school.

beating it to the random scene in ganguro girl that shows up after you right-click - play.

Those are the same people

Anyone played runescape back in 04-05?

I am 30 now and I still know the map like the back of my hand.

I still do.
I go out of my way to find and destroy gay in the wilderness with a group organized off of their website.
Still haven't been outed and banned by p/jmods nor has the forums caught onto it.

There used to be this fad where companies would make good games to make money

Just fucking kill me, whenever I think too much about this shit I feel depressed as fuck.

...

Or any Cal Arts garbage for that matter.

Couch Co-Op.

this is why anime is the only thing worth watching

...

uh huh.

japanisnotoriginalatanime.ytmnd.com

Half of that shit is a fad that will disappear in 5 years time.
The only ones that are going to have staying power are furries and bronies, and community driven websites. Superwholock and Rick and Morty die with the show, and based off the troubles Rick and Morty has been under who knows if there will be a fourth season. Homestuck is finished, right? So that will die out. Undertale will die out unless it gets a sequel, but the sequel will never live up to the hype and at worst it'll turn into Five Nights at Freddy's.
Problem is, there is already a brony show coming that makes it an anime-style magical girl series, so they ain't goin' no where.

non-fetish furries are the fucking worse, what are you on? The whole "it's a lifestyle not a kink" and other-kin shit is half the reason they're hated.

Compared to what, fetish bronies? Gemsona's?

Homestuck flooded mostly into Undertale and were one of the factors that killed it. As one of those autists who was on in inside of the UT fandom since the game came out, I can tell you for sure it's dead. The only folks still going on about it in any sort of "fandom" capacity are a few stray reprobates who got too attached to their retarded skeleton OCs and fanfiction worlds.

Sure why not? Fursonas are worse than gemsonas, and people wanting to fuck a sparkly horse isn't as bad as people believing they are a wolf in man's body and going around in fursuits.

ITT: butthurt furfags who need to go back.

We're literally arguing about how low on the scale they are.

All disgusting.

Webm related

"Fetish" anything is pretty benign most of the time, furries are no exception. Practically everyone here faps to some kind of weird porn or another and most don't go around talking about it outside of porn boards. It's the ones who take it outside of the bedroom and into the streets and conventions that should burn, and most of them don't think of it as anything sexual at all.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

...

...

Imagine future anons remembering the old days.

...

I want to go back, but I'm afraid that if I did my anime waifu would no longer exist.

Remember the 2000s?
It was so much better!
There was no micro transaction or political correctness SJW shit like there is now

Fuck 'em for closing iilwy/OMGPOP.

Western animation may have it's turds but at least it has freedom and hobbyism. Same for any other media.
Japan would never make something as varied or surrealistic as TAWOG because it wouldn't sell as much as low-common denominator shit like moeshit or dramas.

...

...

retards who think anime is nothing but vapid moeshit are just as bad as those who think western cartoons are all calarts socjus slop.

...

Rember wen Holla Forums was fun?

...

Just fucking with you user, you're right.

Is shit, but if you want surreal, Paprika immediately comes to mind, if not also Dead Leaves though it's more actiony then self-dwelling on it's own surrealism, and Madoka Magica has as much if not more variance animation technique wise then TAWOG purely do to the more stop animations involved.

lol, i don't remember 9/11

But the Wii was released 12 years ago

Dead Leaves looks cool, i guess. I have been researching upcoming anime and i have found some interesting stuff as well.
But i was actually referring to how many anime is mostly more based on realistic everyday slice-of-life stuff, light cliche humor, realistic characters with realistic attitudes and so on. And to how TAWOG experiments by throwing many artstyles together. Anime just plays things too safe for my taste. The only exceptions i can think of are PTE and some older 2000's anime.

I suppose. I admit anime also has some things the west can't offer eiher and both have their own set styles and traditions. But /a/utists still act like anime is the ultimate perfect replacement that covers anything positive the west can offer.

And Rockstar weren't a bunch of greedy powerhungry pricks.

You're really blowing my mind user. There's a reason people make/made fun of weeaboos.

Holla Forums was never fun.

The Dreamcast was released almost 20 years ago, and the PS2 was 18 years ago.

are you fucking serious? what the hell where did the time go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I thought the exodus was 3 years and some months ago. It was 2014 yeah? When the Five Guys debacle happened? I saved this picture from a thread at the time because I knew it was going to become big. This site existed in 2013 but nobody really cared about it (in relative terms).

.gif

...

It was something involving Dragonite?

I still remember when he said he was going to remove common core

I can see that, silly. Be more specific next time.

...

Then you want FLCL which had each episode directed by a different animator, although the animation techniques will remain the same, and if you want varied animation techniques, again, Madoka Magica uses as many as Gumball if not more
or you could go for Panty & Stocking with Garter belt
though it occurred on an episode by episode basis.

>The Dreamcast was released almost 20 years ago, and the PS2 was 18 years ago.

1999 is the 6'0" of birth years, until people born in the 2000s become the majority we shall mock them for what they cannot change, much like manlets.

I think that more than forgetting about this I WANTED to forget about it. Thanks for reminding me, this is extremely off the chart though.

A joke comment that looked eerily conspiratory, I bet someone animating that movie really added those in by his own volition (like the fucking Coexist sticker) but half the shit is just funny coincidences.

Whenever I see humanoids like that I'm reminded that even gook-faced geriatrics from the 1800's had more feminine qualities instilled in them by virtue of being clown cars for baby making.

Many people pointed out Trump's stance on video games. They were called shariablue shills.

is it controlled opposition when both sides are that?

Do ya know what an ‘opposition’ is?

this.
I'd say we need to bring it back but I guarantee it the nu-male devs will find a way to ruin it completely.

With that said. Even a cuckhold soyboy PJW isn’t wrong Conservatism becoming a new counter culture.

Because we're specifically targeting gay players, and one of the mods is a fag who forced in a gay pride event and is trying to get an autism event (yes really) put in.

donglegater pls go

You know it seems a bit screwed up for that CEO to say that considering his company can't seem to make any successful new IP and has to constantly slap the Angry Birds name onto every different game genre they make to have it sell. No other developer has that problem.

You aren't wrong but now you woke up the goons.

Are you gay?

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah, Majesco and a few other companies shut down because of it.

This. The 7th generation made me realize this trend was over. It's all about hype marketing now; getting enough people to buy it before they realize it's shit. Indie nu-male devs have taken this to heart too.

I still think VR has potential but this industry doesn't. Going forward it's either going to be always online, microtransactions, dlc and general privacy concerns. It ain't cosy no more.

They are old enough to drink in Canada.

What Did He Mean By This?

They still are

it fucking kills me that there's an entire generation about to reach adulthood that will never know what pre-YouTube internet was like.

LAN parties. Arena shooters. RTS games.
You will never again go over to a friend's house with 4 of your other buddies and down a hundred cans of Vault and shittons of Domino's pizza while playing hours worth of Unreal instagib deathmatches and Starcraft high-resource-map matches

I remember WildTangent. When we got our first WinXP machine back in 2002 it came with the WT client with a bunch of games pre-installed.

The Homestuck fad has largely passed. Don't really see any of them at conventions anymore. Same goes for Bronies, more or less - they're still around but I think most of them retreated into whatever clopsite they fap over and don't come out much.

ha ha kill me

I recently went to the city where I was born and ended up finding this old internet cafe located in a basement of a commie bloc building. I used to go to this place with friends after school when I was a kid back in 98-99.
It's still fucking open!
I wanted to go in and get an hour, but I bitched out.

Why'd you separate undertale, bronies, and furries?

I actually still go to LAN parties with some new friends from a music group I joined a few years back. But, we play garbage games like R6:Siege, CoD4, and Fibbage for most of the night together. Later, the group splits almost in half with one half playing LoL, Overwatch, or PUBG and the other half leaving, falling asleep, or watching The Room. I tried getting them into some older games like Battlezone, but they're never interested.

That image reminded me of this painting from Wolfenstein 3D.

Gaming fads ? Let see:

To be fair it is pretty easy to see things like that pop up while never finding out or remembering the name.

>not also watching nature documentaries and third reich propaganda

It's still poorly scribbled into an old journal along with the password.

You forgot

Who the fuck actually reads game ""journalism""? I've literally never met anyone in my entire life that does this besides autists on forums. Do people here actually read journalism about fucking video games and video game reviews? I've literally never heard of anyone being persuaded or even talk about game reviews and game scores. If a game looks fun they buy it, if not they avoid.

Not once has anyone who I've played games with or talked about games with cares about any of this shit.

user, the world doesn't revolve around you.

Are you autistic? I'm saying that not once in decades of living and interacting with people that play video games have I met someone who cares about this shit. What does that have to do with the world revolving around me? It's an analysis of the world around me, it's the exact fucking opposite.

You're either illiterate or retarded, either way fuck off.

Remember when every fucking game had a stealth section shoe-horned in, even if it was completely inappropriate like an Adventure game?

do you have that picture with the guy duct taped to the ceiling?

You assume that because YOU haven't come across someone that cares about game journalism, it means that nobody does. While it's a fact that some people must care, otherwise all those sites would have dissapeared years ago, nigger.

Really? I thought the websites were just a figment of my imagination. Surely my post couldn't possibly be directed at the very people who visit these websites and trying to understand why they do it.

You're a literal retard, consider suicide you fucking mutt.

I used to, like twenty years ago when I was a child. I read PC Gamer, and going by their rating and whether or not the game was something interesting to me, I'd buy it or not. They would actually talk about game mechanics and compare it to similar games. I bought a fair bit of trash, but mostly classics.

Example: I was subscribed to one of Columbia House CD deals for a little while (where you agreed to be sent a new CD every month and if you didn't send it back, they would charge you. very happy those don't exist anymore), except instead of music CDs it was for PC games. They sent me Red Alert one month and I was about to send it back because I had no idea what it was, but I looked at trusty PC Gamer and found it was a really good game, so I asked my mom to let me keep it.
I ended up pouring countless hours into Red Alert. I'd play it so often that my mother can recall what it sounds like when you click on and order a unit. She still teases me about "Unit Reporting!" "Acknowledged!"
RA is a great game, and I would've sent it back, but PC Gamer told me "no dude, it's a good game, really" and they were right.

That's why it hurts to see gaming journalism talk about sexism because of boobs or stupid shit. I'm sure it was always corrupt, but at least it used to be helpful. Now PC Gamer tells me how Gone Home led them home but they already home or some stupid shit.

yes

Columbia House, Jesus fucking Christ you poor bastard. I got hooked into BMG's bullshit, so I know that feel.

Used to read Sega Visions and InterAction Magazine when I was a kid, which I guess you can't really claim corruption there since they weren't exactly hiding that they were corporate rags - though I was too fucking naive at the time to know why that's a bad thing.

At this point, I don't believe that anymore. It seems as if there are plenty of people on this world whose very jobs depend on people not caring about what they really do. There's just too much money going around, and some of it inevitably falls into crevices where it's first forgotten, and then eaten by bottom feeders.

There was a time, in our hobby's golden age, when both game studios and game review places were staffed by people who actually liked video games. This was before the hobby went truly mass-market and everything was ruined. For the most part you could actually trust what you read in gaming magazines because it was rare for mega-wealthy publishers to buy them out.
This changed sometime around the mid- to late-2000s. Pic related.

Is that a sewage line?

I've seen dumber shit, but if I had to hazard a guess I'd say it's a support beam. Either just a basic cylindrical pillar or one of the those adjustable support jacks with the screws on the bottom.

Hint: It's directly below an I-Beam - so there's nowhere for a "pipe" to go - and there's a plate where it connects to keep it from slipping out if the load shifts.

I can't help but post this, this shit was my childhood.
Also it aged surprisingly well, I managed to watch the entire thing without cringing from any poor quality.

That wasn't the game, that was some cheeky animation team inserting some tidbits into the movie.

Shit, he announced his candidacy in spring 2015. That's coming up on 3 years.

Of course they're catering to the e-sports crowd but these days it's probably what any business like that has to do to stay alive

I never got a chance to

Let Le bodies hit Le floor

Fuck, this hit me hard. I had a core group of dudes, and we did LAN parties at least once a month from 1997-2004. About 8 of us, and we always rotated hosting for each other.

Eventually, I moved out of state for college. The crew broke up, some dudes got married, got girlfriends, enlisted in the military, got office jobs, and the LAN lifestyle was no more. I miss it dearly.

This is probably something I would just do forever if I won the lottery or something. Just host LAN parties for friends who want to escape and basically be irresponsible 19-year-olds again.

Its OK that its pointed out, but I don't agree that it should be taken seriously much like I don't take Anita Sarkeesian's "internet death threats" seriously. If the point is more about pointing out their leftist insanity rather than victimizing the artist that uploaded that fan art, then its fine

As a horse fucking enthusiast I can say you're most certainly wrong on that front.

Jesus, that never ceases to amaze me.

Actually whats weird is vidya might do a complete turn around to retro methods after it crashes again, which means we'll be the 'modern' ones again.
Theres certainly some hope for a return to quality with the slightly older fashioned style shooters popping up, 'Retro' indie games falling out of fashion, and normalfags getting up in arms about gambling and DLC. Not to mention platformers seeing a bit more love again.
Its not 100%, but if loot boxes go illegal you know companies will pump up prices until nobody buys their shit anymore, a crash happens, and the people who want to make money will have to work for it again.

I know how you feel user, growing up I really only had one friend, who I was extremely close with, but he attached himself sophomore year of high school he attached himself to a group of extreme normies and they turned him into a real fag. I dissociated myself from him and that cancerous clique and ended up practically friendless. Every time I hear about people having fun with their mates I feel a deep sadness.

...

...

Hi I'm 21 and since I lived in a shit country I used to have a family in 1998.
AMA

You're full of shit, but it's a nice dream. The game market is too well entrenched to crash again like it did in it's infancy, and too global to be affected much by local trends.

The best we can hope for at this point is that as more and more games go the route of live services, you'll see a sub-market emerge within the larger market at writ which resembles the classic model. Populated largely either by companies specifically catering to a targeted demographic, or new experimental IPs that don't justify the live service investment, or smaller indie studios who can't afford/secure a live service partnership - or are just hobbyist devs. It'll very much be like a "secret club" where you have to dig and pay attention to find new titles - and god forbid if one of them goes viral, then the franchise is ruined since the influx of popularity would make it a prime target for exploitation/"enhanced monitisation" via the injection of the live service cancer.

i'm an israeli AMA

Why do you hate women?

...

god I hate that fucking artist

There are some adults buying and playing video games, affecting the hobby market you like with their money acquired from employment, whose first Halo was Reach at the age of 10.

I miss reading the editorials in vidya magazines that were just three pages of extremely shifty sonic fan art. I remember tips and tricks magazine had an arcade token of the month in every issue and the featured token got a little blurb detailing the history of the arcade. I want to go back.

I miss vidya zines.

They were too busy screaming into their microphones about CoD: MW2 to pick up Halo: Reach. I can confirm; my cousin's one of them.

What's the business reason for not releasing demos? You'd think with digital distribution being widely available it would cost a lot less and everyone would do it. Show those "try before you buy" pirates they're full of shit.

Oh wait, modern PC games are basically demos with all the "we'll patch it later" and day 1 DLC, maybe that's why.

Classic Lara was fucking hot back. Not ashamed to admit I fapped to her, making up fantasies about her being my lost art and becoming my ara ara long before I knew what that was.

Demos actually reduce sales. And since demos are usually from games not yet complete, with unpatched bugs and before final optimisation and shit, it's not surprising.

...

That about sums it up, the golden age of gaming (and we were kids). Consoles actually got better and were exciting, LAN parties with Quake and UT, game magazines were fun to read, even the company-owned magazines at least gave decent game info.
I still have stacks of old Nintendo Power and shit somewhere in my basement that I couldn't bear to throw out. Game magazines were just so much fun back then.

I was able to get back at Columbia House a bit; the family computer we had was one of the very first to come with a CD-R drive, games had no copy protection, and games could be returned. I copied a couple games that way before my mom was freaked out the police were going to knock on our door.

Someone really got on his ass for that first one.

Hah, nice one. I was able to pull one over on BMG as well, doing the same thing except with cassette tapes. The problem was, they didn't register a "return" - so they charged me anyhow, and then they kept sending me shit I didn't order since I think there was some kind of opt-out form you had to fill in occasionally and send back or they would automatically charge you. Ended up amassing a $400 bill from them, so I got my parents involved, since they knew nothing about it initially. Basically, they entered into a predatory contract with a minor, and while I did lie initially about my age to get signed up - they sure as fuck didn't want to have it go to court where those predatory practices could be scrutinized in light of being leveraged against a child (well, teen, but whatever).

Would have ended up with a shit-ton of free cassettes, but my dad made me send most of them back. So all I got to keep was a few of the legitimate ones I paid for early on, and the bootleg copies I made of the shit they sent.

Those swimsuit editions were the good shit. This april fool's edition too.

As far as laptop trackpads go the ones on Apple laptops are probably the only usable ones. Still awful for gaming though.

I'm surpised no one has made this yet.

No reason you can't. Get a few buddies together and try to make some old game actually run on modern PCs and play it up. If you don't have any buddies find some kind of online meet up site and plan it there.

...

That shit is why Beyond Good and Evil was trash. Fuck that game and fuck every journalist for shaming everyone for not buying that shit.

I know that feel.
>TFW you missed out on everything cool in video games and tech because of no friends and underageb&, and, your 20's will be shit because (((culture))) has become objectively worse with the likely hood of saving any of it now seemingly nearing zero.
Why live

Demos reduce sales on bad games.
Shareware Doom didn't reduce Doom sales, shareware Quake didn't reduce Quake sales, etc.

That's complete bullshit. These days anything they call a beta is identical to the finished product. If they call it a pre-alpha, it means it's essentially finished and they MIGHT change some insignificant shit. If they release a demo today, it will be identical to the finished game.

>because I had a lot of personal issues we were both having pretty fucked-up childhoods I never showed much actual closeness to him, shared much about myself with him or even really just acted like myself around him, and when he would would show closeness to me I would mistrust him for it as well as just mistrusting the sense of himself that he was sharing with me

I really don't know how the owner thought releasing the same game over and over wouldn't get stale

1v1 me fgt

Remember when screw attack was an actual competitor for Youtube just because they would have swear words?
Let alone when Screw Attack wasn't just constant fucking Death Battle videos?

Beating the dead horse works for PC and console games. Maybe we were the console pesants all along and mobile is the master race.

Stop whining or go to /r9k/ or something, jesus christ. What are you, teenagers?

It works on mobile too, worked for Angry Bird for a few years and a ridiculous amount of money.
The problem is that due to the short and shallow nature of mobile games, coupled with the tiny price point and nature of how people use their phones, their "generations" are much shorter than PC/Console.

Now it's cell phone games and diversity. Idiots gonna idiot.

All trackpads are good for is moving your cursor while you're typing with both hands.

Kill yourself, you pretentious faggot.

...

Yes, I remember, Satan.

I wonder who is behind this post…

Here's one for you
GTA Vice City was set in 1986 and released in 2002, a 16 year gap. 2002 was 16 years ago from today. Think about that for a second.

I am still using it 20 years later.

My first username was "The Marlboro Man", and I was only like 13 at the time and I smoked Camels. Dunno if it counts as "internet" though, since that was the handle I used on one of the local Renegade BBSs.

I don't deserve forgiveness.

I'd rather not.

J-Jim? on Holla Forums?

I stole my dentists name.

I unironically love this. Takes me back to the good old days.

that's a really cute snake. it's like a white poo but without all the repulsion that usually comes with poo

If I find you in the present and suck your dick, will that make you gay in the future?

I much preferred GTA clones from the PS2 and early 7th gen era over today's meme open world games (which are much easier to make since they can have not much stuff in them at all unlike games with populated cities).

they may or may not have been better, but they were definitely simpler

Man I would kill to have another game set in the past like this. Too bad GTA fanboys aggressively don't want anything outside of CURRENT YEAR because they claim GTA can't be GTA without cellphones, internet, and old cars are gay.
