I've always kind of liked Captain Ginyu since he reminds me of my dad, which is funny because he became my dad's favorite character after I introduced him to DBZ.

it always irked me how Toriyama just threw Raditz aside. The dude is the main characters long lost brother for pete's sake. I can't remember which game did it, but there was one that had him become Baba's go between for the afterlife and I always liked that idea.

I have to agree. Raditz shows up and is a nightmare threat, but he's only ever used as a brief vehicle to introduce Vegita and Nappa and then just kinda freaking vanishes even from the afterlife subplots. Hell, Nappa gets more attention than him.
