Seriously, they're all shit. MGO3 (which isn't really animu), bullet girls, this. Why can't they make a decent fucking /ak/ game. The closest we've got is valkyria and even then that's more strategy and is pretty hit and miss in terms of quality.

The Good:
+ Almost the entire game is based on YOUR character, who gets dialogue choices which vary in relevance.
+ YOU get to choose your waifu, either a buxom qt or "childhood friend" who doesn't have the assets the other one does.
+ Technically you get to take a few of Kirito's harem as your own, sort of, in pillow events (only the girls from the games, including Strea baby)
+ Combat isn't half bad. It's basically a slightly less wonky and not-so-grapple-heavy Freedom Wars (without the BS bosses of FW)
+ Lots of clipping but everything is so pretty and shiny it rather reminds me of Bloodborne when your clothes get glossy
+ Your choices also matter…mostly
+ Kirito isn't as much of a…well, you know, like he is in the anime. He feels more like a genuinely skilled hero who's not a Mary Sue and being friends with him is kinda neat.
+ Story is pretty good.
+ Can model your pet AI to be a lot of styles, either male or female, and they adapt to your orders or you can set behavior (basically the android from Freedom Wars but this time with an actual character and personality, and relevance to the plot)
+ Gun variety

The Bad
- You HAVE to play as Kirito in "Kirito Mode" and you gotta do it to get the True Ending
– You DON'T get to waifu that best girl killer girl at the far right of the pic here
- Depending on which of the two main waifu you choose you get

No Game No Life was really fun mostly because it knew that it was fanservicey pandering shit and it was fun because of that Which woudn't be a problem in itself if they at least had decent enough writing to warrant taking them any seriously, but SAO is just awfully written, even if compared to other Light Novels, fuck, Log Horizon blows it the fuck out at everything it does.

I don't think so. Last I checked he worked on both separately but got more invested in Accel Pigfart, then worked it so that technically Kirito is the one who would later on be the genius to create Accel World in-universe. I don't think that's how he planned it from the beginning, though.

Well, I would guess that the best choice for that would be the debt collectors, the towns bureaucracy, and big threat mobs would probably be the antagonists. Though the bureaucracy would probably only show up occasionally, the big threat mobs would be more occasional until he reaches the peak and fights one of the hard mobs, so I guess debt collectors would be the most likely antagonist. Maybe the ending could change to be one of the orphans is the supposed hero to say the day, and he has to fight one of the big band's generals to keep the kid safe, it would end with the kid bring sent off to prepare to be a hero. Though having the antagonist be the demon lord is a bit overdone.

There isn't much of a story from the 2 volumes I've read. It's more like random adventures and events that happens as the MC tries to settle down in that world. It seems to rely more on world building and I'm enjoying it. Like how the series is quick to show it has slavery. While the MC is against it, he pulls some strings to gain ownership of the girls instead of just setting them free and thinking the problem is over like a moron. It also explains certain things in the view of a person playing a RPG and I think it does a nice job at it.
