Nomadic vidya

Give me games that I might please Tengri in

AOE2 has the Ghengis Khan campaign.

If you like space nomads you could try Homeworld.

Or Star Traders Frontiers

sauna

Euro Truck Simulator

Is Kenshi ever going to get horses or horse-like mounts? I still wouldn't suggest it as it is the eternal EA game. Maybe Shadow Sorcerer.

Explain

Early Access. Eternally.

My mistake, for some reason I assumed EA games, not early access

Well now, are you going to lurk or just be the ever redshirt? It's a readily apparent term to most anons here.

Minecraft

Attila total war.

Antifa total war when

Aside from the usual central Asian how, how about a dystopic strategy game where you have something like an MCV from C&C and move from ruined city to ruined city to scrap up what few resources those places still have to offer?

Could have some interesting mechanics - stuff like:

I always found the idea of moving around your production buildings and ancients in Starcraft/Warcraft III something way underused in both the regular gameplay and the campaign missions. Same, to a lesser extend, for the Undead's ability to sell their structures.

Wasn't there some shitty looking normalfag movie about that? Moving cities that "ate" other cities.

Never heard of anything like that.

Found it.

Interesting concept, but that "larger" MCV is just stupidly huge. They'd be screwed as soon as they'd have to cross a river or anything else that isn't smooth terrain. I was more thinking of a convoy of vehicles moving into the ruins of destroyed city, pilfering what they can, and then fucking off again before the locals get overly gutsy.

Have you tryed the Civ V barbarian assault? It's a dlc gamemode that lets you play as Atilla the Hun, Franks, Lombards, even the Vandals and it's race to push the Romans shit in. It was one of the most saitisfying Civ V games I played where I got to burn the Roman Empire down to the ground from Constantinople all the way to Rome. You can burn down some Sassanid cities on your way to Rome as well.

Actually now that you mention it again, Endless Legend has a "merchant" faction whose gimmick is the ability to pick up their cities and move them around the map and having all of their units be "cavalry".

Technically in Starsector your fleet is not tied to anything, but you can't split it whatsoever… And there's nowhere to migrate to anyway.

I remember Paraworld had a very similar faction - mobile resources gathering buildings, etc. I need to give the dinos a try again, I guess.

What the shit how have I never heard about this game before?

I think it was fairly obscure outside of Germany due to little to no marketing, and the devs went tits up due to insufficient sales.

Holy shit this game looks great, like Age of Mythology great. System requirements are tiny too, I might be able to get it running in a Windows VM.

Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic had a nomad enslaver race, you can also turn cities into caravans and resettle them in other place.

Sounds somewhat like Banner Saga

He's not wrong

EA releases buggy games with half the features missing regularly so they might as well be interchangeable

For me EA = Electronic Arts is so ingrained it cannot be undone, in fact that's been in use for decades while Early Access has only been a term for a few years. We need a half-joke term like ASSFAGGOTS for Early Access, something with unfinished in it I guess.

Crusader Kings 2 would be one I guess though you actually end up fairly stationary sadly.
