aeon.co/essays/like-start-ups-most-intentional-communities-fail-why

This is it. We have found the perfect capitalist headline. It's can't get better than this.

Sessions is toast. Soon there'll be another leak that shows him talking to these people.

hotaru is hotter tbh

So what? Senators can talk to foreign diplomats. The Trump administrations can just ignore it

It goes in the email field, retard.

he did it in both just to make sure

Russian Probe? For what exactly? I don't think I've ever seen such a sideshow from the state, just fucking make a move already, having to listen to liberals cry about Russia and defend the CIA bullshit is driving me insane.

He lied under oath about it.

It's not the crime that gets you, but the cover-up.

Is this the hot new meme? Instead of pretending to be retarded we all pretend we're retards from reddit?

And yet he somehow managed to fuck it up anyway

What a bunch of cowards.

Whelp I think this convinces me, we'll probably be at war with Iran within the next 4-8 years

kek

He didn't though. He's a lawyer, he answered precisely how he did for a reason.

Got you, fam.

Another one.

When the names of the cabinat candidates were first released, I saw Mattis had a hateboner for Iran and welp.

The Secretary of Defense is an Iran war-hawk and a proud war criminal to boot.

God bless America

I thought Japan had a birthrate problem.

Japan has a capitalism problem

...

No

war crimes are just what the winners accuse the losers of doing

Politically speaking, the administration will likely cut him free pretty soon. It's too much of a hot potato for an already unpopular admin

I'm not seeing any saya paizuri art on gelbooru though

sayafags BTFO, hotaru for life

The Logan act prohibits any unauthorized individuals from acting on behalf of the United States government. Including Senators. In fact, it was written with congresspeople in mind.

Swedish "socialists" bringing back selective conscription because of propaganda about spooky Russians doesn't have to do with class struggle, but is none the less fucking stupid

It's gonna be a kick ass spectacle. And unlike Iraq Iran actually has the means to defend itself in a grueling long war

I honestly wish they would, most Americans do not deserve to live.

...

If this is used every Senator in Congress will be open to prosecution it's retarded as fuck, as the Government is now Trump, he can bring the indictments against them all.

Absolutely fucking retarded stuff.

Mass conscription and military service are actually good.

t. Frederic Jameson

RIP in Papa John's, USA

He's playing 10-dimensional chess. Just wait until you see the much better, cheaper system that he rolls out. It's about time we got the government hands off our Medicaid!

t. modal Trump-voting Ameribluber

There's no way he's cutting that

It's not going to be used because members of a transition team making contact with Russia is actually standard practice. It's been done by every president since at least Reagan. The goal of the democrats and the media (lead by WaPo) has become very dangerous: make diplomacy with Russia impossible. Even at the height of the Cold War, it was actually diplomacy that allowed the U.S. and Russian to avoid direct war between nuclear powers. What we are seeing is not a reemergence of the Cold War, but a shift to new, unknown political territory.

does that one Puerto Rican user still post here?

Sure he can. The article lays out how the block grants would be an effective medicaid cut. They will just dress it up nicely so that the Boomers like it and any contrary analyses will be dismissed as Globalist Fake News.

All he had to do was not lie about it. It's not like the Republicans wouldn't approve him.

It has no bearing on modern diplomacy in any way shape or form. That the democrats dug up a 200 year old law that has never been applied and was broken routinely by every president of the 20th century should tell you something.

No. It was not all he had to do. He didn't do anything unusual by the standards of all of his predecessors in living memory. What we are witnessing here is, and I know we say this a lot, unprecedented.

It's not like he missed the hysteria over Russian intervention in the election. Surely he could've made some semblance of plan towards how he was going to get confirmed.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support any Russian intervention that destabilizes America. But it seems like Sessions didn't exactly take his hearing too seriously given the political climate.

It was precisely the hysteria that he was responding to. Obama, immediately after the election loss, took a sudden hard jerk to confrontation with Russia. What he specifically did was promise to direct cyberattacks towards that country. It's frankly alarming. The incoming government telling the Russian government to cool their heads is not treasonous– but that's beside the point. Sessions nor any "reasonable" person of the time would think that the mainstream left would craft a consensus narrative that said that the president himself was a stooge of the Kremlin and that making diplomatic overtures is treasonous.

I wonder if the democrats realize how dangerous the situation is becoming and want this outcome, or just hate trump so much that they don't notice the secondary consequences of their rhetoric and actions. We're at a situation where any kind of communication or diplomacy with Russia is not permissible. The only interaction is to fire missiles at Russian boats.

It's just about getting Trump out, he could try and get single payer with them and they would sabotage him. It's pure emotion, zero tactics bar trying to impeach about fucking Russia, if Trump was a GOP insider the CIA would have crushed this right after the election. They are using it to get him to play ball.

That is the danger democrats don't give a shit about
