Currently watching the "I am hero" movie on jewtubes. I stopped reading the manga after they got to the part where the girl was on top of the tower with the zombie people who didn't know they were zombies.

Feels like they changed a few things in the movie. The flavor seems to match up with how I remember the manga being so far.

I'm still annoyed that artbooks for a somewhat lengthy series are missing scans online, or in some cases, have cropped scans that only show the characters, and not the entire biographies/design notes. Xenofags are lucky that 'gears was so popular that Perfect Works itself got a full scan and English fan translation despite being over 300 pages.

Also I estimate using a Kinkos or something for a 200+ page book isn't likely to be the most cost friendly solution. If I was back in high school thought I sure as fuck would take advantage of the digital lab's scanners. We had a big $35,000 scanner and printer in there. The teacher took a lot of pride in keeping his classes well stocked.

Admittedly If I knew someone who was ugly and disgusting to be around, I'd try to convince them to try working out and clean themselves up.

The two I'm talking about were only linked with my other two friends by way of me, and decided they'd rather hang out with each other than trash like me. I think it has to do with the proliferation of "abusive tsun" girls. You can have a girl that acts cold towards who she likes, but without beating the shit out of them. Ai in Noein seemed like that, but (I might be remembering wrong), she never seemed to get violent, and at worst I recall her getting into a slap fight with another girl she thought was interested in the guy she liked.

There's also the rare male tsun character at times, like Hubert and Chester in Tales (the latter being a tsun for a tsun girl at that).

Given the nature of lengthy series, sometimes that development either gets too drawn out, or never happens.
