Ocean setting in general. I've got a pretty bad phobia of the open ocean and sea creatures so this game is the scariest I've ever played. It's caused me to lock up, made my entire body tremble, and I even cried at one point. It probably sounds stupid but I've never played anything like it before, and it is good at what it does (in my opinion).
I also genuinely like the story. It's unintrusive but i'm always eager to read every PDA I find.

It relates directly to the gameplay, though. With the team losing some of its talent, it means that updates are going to take longer and be of a lower quality. If they find someone to fill the hole in that position, then they may not be able to match the content that the other did. The game barely feels finished. They can't shoot their future updates in the foot like this.
