Vidya Merchandise

Have you ever fell victim on buying any vidya related merchandising?

Also
I don't give a fuck what anyone says, i enjoyed the NES Cereal

You would have to be a soyboy or 10 years old to buy any of this.

I bought $400 worth of LoL skins before they banned me, does that count?

...

i bought $400 of smite skins over the course of 5 years and havent been banned yet
shame the new demonic thanatos skin costs $600 if you dont dedicate 6-7 hours of plaing smite daily

What amiibo does Mario cereal use? I wanna pirate it

...

My father bought me a fallout poster and shirt as gifts because he knew i liked fallout
unfortunately they were a fallout 4 poster and shirt
I appreciate them nonetheless.

Season 3 when

Never

I own almost all of the Super Smash Bros amiibos in their original US boxes.

I bought a couple of those back in the day, the candy was pretty good but nothing spectacular that you couldn't get from the dollar store next door. I mostly got it for the mushroom tbh

I like mushroom too ha ha

s**b*y

I-I thought they were cool, o-okay??

You're missing out on the good things in life, user.

Damnnn! Sounds hot, got any pics my man?

Nah, but here's an artistic recreation.

I have a vidya figure collection of ~$500.
I also have a Pokemon Special artbook but that's more /a/ than Holla Forums.

I've got some 2hu figures and fumos, a Totori figure, and a Neptune figure, plus a couple of accessories and a daki. My latest purchase was a limited edition copy of Visionary Fairies in Shrine vol. 1 that came with little figures of Sunny, Luna and Star.

I tried the coin candy before.
I was good too but nothing special.

Half the NES cereal was good, the other was crap. Can't remember which was which for the life of me.
NINTENDO MINTS A SHIT

Multiple POP! figures. They were BL2 Moxxi and ClapTrap. I bought them years ago and I still have them, completely unopened. I might sell them if they become rare and valuable, because I haven't played/been interested in BL2 for a long time.

I have no idea what their secret sauce was, but Ralston used to make the legit tastiest cereals I've ever had. That Zelda cereal with the berry flavors was goddamned amazing. If they still made it, I would buy that shit up just to eat as a dry snack.

I keep weed in a green mushroom

I remember when I convinced my folks to get the Batman cereal for me back in the day. I poured a bowl the following morning and it tasted like shit.
Ate it anyway.

That's Starcrossing. Be careful what you wish for.

Not really, about the closest i got was buying an art promo/ad of a game i liked, and it came with some free stickers.

Only not actual-game vidya related stuff I have are the occasional artbook, poster, or soundtrack, and in a fair amount of cases those actually came with the game itself, so I didn't have to go out of my way to get them.

Reminds me of when I was on a roadtrip while visiting my dad recently. He went in to a dollar store in a town we were passing through to get some stuff for his dog that he took with us, and came back with some Mike and Ikes as well. Turns out the Mega Mix (the only type they had at the time) is like nine flavors of unappealing to us, but we still ate it despite complaints. Otter_hates_watermelon_but_can't_stop_eating_it.jpg

I honestly don't get why some companies have decided that's a perk to include to warrant a higher price on a LE or CE. I mean, you put them on something, and then unless you're really careful you can't reuse them. What about an artbook? What about a soundtrack disc (assuming the OST is actually good)? Nope, have some some stickers. Also microfiber clothes. Those are at least useful, but still. Is there some sort of "microfiber fanbase" out there that collects those?

I have a few fangamer shirts that I bought a few years ago, they're actually really nice. Also have an E-Tank mug I picked up in some shitty import store in a mall. It's alright, didn't realize it wasn't microwave safe though.

I yelled at some communists in this t-shirt once. They interrupted me mid rant to ask about it. They assumed that I was part of some secret society or something. I was like nah just play video games dude.

cringe: the post

Collector editions have mostly been a jew scam in my experience. Just a bunch of cheap shit packed in an oversized box with a limited print run in order to make you think that 20-30 extra bucks you spent on it are worth the money. Very few LE/CEs i've seen have been pretty good, most of them are what they typically call launch editions, shit like pic related where they just give you some extra shit at no extra cost if you bought the game new when it came out..

I didn't literally yell at them, and I'm pretty fit so nah. Not to say that there aren't any cringe moments in my life holy shit I wish

Glad I don't make those sort of faces when I find a game I've wanted, though I suppose some of those could have been exaggerated for the photos.

Are half-rimmed, skinny armed ones that DON'T highlight the fact that you're wearing glasses consider "behind the times" or something? Because I remember it taking like two fucking weeks of searching to find a lightweight, skinny armed, half-rimmed frame last time I needed one. It was like fucking store out here stocked for those at that point.

Yeah, I don't mind first print editions much, though I'd prefer the bonuses to not just be DLC. Have that Xillia LE myself; was a nice surprise that Bamco upgraded every initial run western copy to that for free, but still kind of scummy as to how they were initially going to lock what had been free-with-purchase DLC costumes to the $100 CE. And then with Xillia 2 they went and did that with the $130 CE anyhow. Still, some companies do make more of an effort. The 10th Anniversary Edition first print run for Wild Arms 5 had a nice collectors box and an eighty page artbook courtesy of XSEED (oddly the actual cover art for the game doesn't have the name on the spine, so unless you're familiar with what it looks like, or have the anniversary box, it's one of those "mystery games" you'd see on a shelf).

But yeah, I don't go out of my way for more than a first print copy myself, assuming the game in question gets one (and is even worth buying at full price). Only actual LEs I have are for games where that was the only way to get a physical copy anyhow. One of which is apparently about $300 now if it has everything intact.

The most that any normal person does when they get/find something they want is smile and let out a small verbal affirmation like “Nice.” Or “Cool” or “Sweet”
You don’t distend your mouth like you expect a cock to descend from on high and throat fuck you.

A bunch of Touhou figs and plushies, a Kirby plushie, and possibly some other things I'm forgetting. Special mention of deka Reimu.

...

Serious question.

Are videogame artbooks/concept art merchandise? If so how cancerous are they?

Serious question

Are you really going to decide whether or not something that you are expressing a desire to own by asking about it is cancerous based on the opinions on an anonymous collective?

Get the fuck out you weak minded faggot.

Take it easy faggotron, I just want to hear the opinions of some anons.

Take a hike faggot.

Isn't that something that people go to the hospital for

It's awful enough that it's furfag porn where she anal vored a goomba, but she's not even being faithful?

Fuck this shitty cuck porn

Mario is jerking off in the closet and crying while he watches her get cummed on by three koopas.
