Some games required you to burn them to a disc and play off those, but that was so long ago I can't even remember what games did it. I'd imagine those would have patches by fans nowadays.

Can any of you fellas help me get a Japanese Fire Emblem 9 ISO? I want it to play the Japan-only Maniac difficulty mode, but all the places I usually get my stuff from only provide English ROMs and ISOs.

The difficulty in FE10 was raised for the US version so easy is the JP normal and so on. Are you sure it's not also like that for FE9? Because if it is then you can just play the US/EU ISO.

They're mega links. They're broken into link and decryption key by the looks of things but I can't remember if they had special characters slapped in the middle somewhere or not.
