Aren't you that evil dictator that was mean to his people so the United St- I mean the people overthrew you?

I thought he was the good dictator that was nice to his people so the United States propped him up??

he did nothing wrong

he was so mean to his people that Libya became the most developed country in Africa and the west couldn't take it.

I know he's a Statist but he wasn't that bad.

Didn't he have a personal guard that were basically his sex slaves? Or am I thinking of another dictator.

is his Green Book worth reading or no?

I attempted it once and it is not very coherent

I love it when Holla Forumstards support socialists like Gaddafi and Assad.

this

he was nazbol

it's because they're the same thing

Friendly reminder that Amnesty International confirmed that most of the "war crimes" supposedly committed by Qadaffi were propaganda without any proof but the West kept bombing his forces to support the legitimately criminal rebel forces and plunge the country into civil war.

Oh well.

wew. check'em.

Here you go lads. You can find more, but this one is well sourced.

We do. Fucking american imperialist pigs.

I'm torn on Gaddafi. he was essentially an enlightened despot who raised Libya up and really improved the material conditions of the workers. As a socialist opposed to him because obviously he wasn't a socialist and the proletariat still had their surplus labour taken from them. He was repressive yes, but now the material conditions and repression are worse than ever due to the power vacuum left behind.

The power vacuum is a myth.
US has been battling ISIS in pretty much its current form since 2008.
They formed isis and used it as a weapon to topple egypt, libya and syria. Luckily putin stepped in when his finances were threatened. Told ya the market would solve it.

not sex slaves but he hired virgin qts as guards. i would probably do the same tbh

π“žπ“±π“± π“˜'𝓢 𝒇𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓬𝓾𝓢𝓢𝓲𝓷𝓰

Pick one.

no African led country on that continent has a tenth of the prosperity that Libya had under Gaddafi.

Honestly economic policy is the thing I care least about. If the choice to save my race was Nazbol I'd take it. Just that even here most of the leftists think race is a spook and will reply to me endlessly about how they love that whites are being out bred

there was a story where the rebels hunted them down and raped/murdered them and their families. And now the country burns as it's ran by a mix of warlords who put tribal loyalties before all else.

that's not how you spell "money, possibly needed to keep their families alive".
not sure where you got your idea from, do you have a source?

...

Have you not read any articles about Libya since the civil war started? They make it pretty clear that the conflict is tribal in nature. Maybe you don't know what the word "tribal" means lol

You were a faggot, ghadaffi. Green book worst thing I ever read.

only good african leader

But aren't you guys essentially tribalist? Where you draw the line between a tribe and a nation? What categories do you apply to those terms?

so you don't know what the word tribe means either lol

I think I can define it in my own terms, which are quite Marxist of course. But I was specifically asking how you differentiate tribe from nation in the context of a tribalist society.

I was asking in good faith to get a genuine answer from Holla Forums how you justify nation states oppressing tribes and by what qualifications you define those two identities.

But looks like I'm not getting an answer

Do you

?????
Like I said the civil war in Libya is tribal in nature. Libya as a nation state mixed together the lands of several tribes and they fought for political power before ghaddafi and now they're fighting for power after he's dead. You don't need my unique definition for words to read a fucking news article lol

Considering how openly the press throws words that mean nothing to throw word salad at an audience who doesn't give a shit, it's not surprising you use the press as a source for your definitions on past conflicts

tfw you have the retarded tripfag filtered and you've told them and yet they keep on replying

Then why did you reply in the other thread…

He had many flaws, but was the most anti-authoritarian political leader in the history of north africa. Truly a noble yet humble soul. He advocated popular assemblies and direct democracy, fought for womens' rights and brotherhood for sub-saharan africans. He used oil money to bring water to the desert, guarantee free housing, health care and electricity and education as a human right, and fund leftist armed struggles around the world.
The first chapter of the Green Book is pretty good, the rest is a little iffy (ethno-nationalist but not chauvenistic).
"All political systems in the world today are a product of the struggle for power between alternative instruments of government. This struggle may be peaceful or armed, as is evidenced among classes, sects, tribes, parties or individuals. The outcome is always the victory of a particular governing structure - be it
that of an individual, group, party or class - and the defeat of the people; the defeat of genuine democracy." -The Green Book

you are a fucking retard
This idiotic "everything you say is wrong" mentality needs to stop.

Lybia, just as so many other ex-colonial territories, ended up with completely artificial borders and internal political divisions with little to no correlation to ethnic and tribal differencies. Gaddafi was keeping it a productive nation, and has gone to shit since his kill

I keep reading about how what a cool chap he was, and outside of "funding armed groups" and "forced women to be with him", I've got not much on him.
What's the catch? What did he do wrong? In what way was he a shit?
Also, what was the actual western rethoric against him? "You fund terrorists and bomb your own people"? Or did they present other reasons?

iffy how? Ethno-nationalistic meant as a bad thing?

the main one was the supposed bombing of a german nightclub in the 80s, however iirc (can't remember where i read this) it basically wasn't Libya and was pinned on them.

Here's a great documentary that, among other things, talks about how the US used Libya as their scapegoat for anything that happened

But Holla Forums you aren't white

hypernormalization is alright but i'll have to watch it again to form my final opinion because i didn't like it as much as the previous ones.

the part about how the military gave real fake documents to conspiracy theorists to make them believe in ufo bullshit was pretty good though. didn't know that.
