I was reading some Lenin and he was critiquing the Bernstein quote "The end point doesn't matter, the movement is everything," or w/e. I didn't really understand Lenin's full critique of this – isn't this actually properly adhering to dialectics? Hegel always describes dialectics as a process, a motion, etc., not something that just mystically resolves contradictions into a new form.
