Eiyu*Senki - Fucking your way to world peace

The art is top-notch but it can be pretty slow if you want to see every h-scene.

Are the h-scenes worth it or is the game play fun enough to justify the pace? If neither is the case I'll probably just listen to and go play Sengoku Rance instead.

I've played Sengoku Rance and loved it to death, but Eiyu Senki is good enough to justify a playthrough. I suggest doing it before playing Sengoku Rance because you probably wouldn't feel motivated for a playthrough if it were the other way around since the gameplay in Rance is a straight upgrade. But yeah, to answer your question, the h-scenes are pretty good, especially if you like lolis, as there is a disproportionate amount compared to non-flat chested girls.

Kichikuou Rance requires knowledge of previous games to fully enjoy, but it's fucking worth it. If you liked Sengoku Rance, you definitely should play Kichikuou Rance as well

The game isn't bad, it's just braindead simple. The gameplay is really basic JRPG fights, while the remaining 95% of the game is VN dialog between characters. It would be a lot better if it was more engaging mechanically. It's kinda like the Neptunia of h-games.

If you are too casual to just play them all, then you can play the remakes of the oldest games or skip the first one and watch the anime instead (it covers most of the stuff that happened in the game). The most important thing after that is to NEVER skip ANY of them and play them chronologically. Rance series is characteristic by a massive amount of refferences and cameos from the older titles, often requiring you to have knowledge of prior games in order to even understand the main plot. I am not exagerrating, it's not unusual to have the game refference events from three games ago and expect you to have good knowledge of it. The recaps are minimal, if they're there at all. Sengoku Rance was, of all the Rance games, the most stand-alone one, meant to bring new players into the series, and even then there are many refferences to older titles.

The only exception would be Kichikuou Rance, as it is not canon, but seeing as it's one of the best games in the series by far, skipping it would be a mistake.

In Rance 5, Feliss shrunk until she was the size of a doll. Like I said, that wasn't actually loli, it was just the closest he has gotten. Also can you give some examples of him actually fucking lolis? I can't speak for any of the games past Sengoku Rance since I haven't played them, but I'm pretty sure the past games don't have anything like that.
