Last thread appears to have been deleted for some reason, but it got me interested in the game. Anyone have any gripes about it? I feel like it's too good to be true.

I haven't played it, but it does look nice. I do remember seeing that there was a collectible that you couldn't get the max number of in the base game, and would have to use the Steam workshop's custom levels to get, which is why I'm wary of playing it.
I'm not finished with it yet, but so far the main thing that's stuck out to me is some of the character models. The eyes and mouth on hat loli are textures, and sometimes that can look a little weird. It sorta reminds me of how things looked in the early days of 3D, which I know can be a good or bad thing depending on the person. personally, I kinda like it. The game overall is great though. It's cheap in the first place, but if it's on sale or has a good torrent you basically have no reason to not play it.
It's certainly fun, the gameplay is really smotth. But it is too short and it doesn't know what the hell it wants to be. Worth trying.
why is she wearing two sunglasses?
how are her eyebrows visible through her thick hair?
where's the porn?
You'll enjoy it. Just don't expect it to have a cohesive experience.
If you get bored easily it's a good pick because every single world is a different experience. That's the biggest divisive factor the game has, that and it's length, as it's sort of short.
The levels it does have are very well polished though.
Who the fuck cares about bonus cosmetics anyway? People bitching about this just gripe too hard because they can't be completionists.
I looked it up and I can't find anything about not being able to get stage collectibles, but it seems like there's a slot machine system (not run by microtransactions, thank god) at the end of each stage where you can unlock color schemes for the player. According to some online they were able to get all of them with the coins supplied in-game but apparently some had to console command some extra ones to get them. I don't really care about 100% completing everything, so that doesn't matter much to me, but I can definitely see how that could turn some people off.
The models were what initially made me overlook it when I first saw it on steam, but if it has fun gameplay and comfy vibes I can easily look past them.
Rift Tokens. You can spawn them with a console command. If you get 100% completion you're given a cosmetic alternative to the primary hat.
My complaint is you can't get every cosmetic item anyways. Many of them are rentals for specific parts of the game that are not fully obtainable.
Chapter 2 is easily the best part
