After playing the open beta I would say it's "meh", it's not bad but not particularly good either, it's better than Overwatch but that's not saying much.
The class abilities aren't press X to win like in Overwatch but the classes are still imbalanced and most of the gamemodes are pretty samey, add to this the bland characters, hideous art style and an oversaturated shooter market and you've got yourself a flop.

As for the ones that you cited, Stardew Valley is pozzed. So, in this case, maybe the developer saw what was coming to him if he exposed himself, so he chose to be in a low profile.
As for the rest, pretty much the same thing that i said in the beggining applies: they probably never really worked on their games and just put their names there.
No talented person with merit is a leftist or becomes an SJW cuck. But some of them can always get deals behind the scenes where they pay for the true creators to never take credit, while they take all the credit for their works. In the long run, without information, it made some of them earn more than what they spent on said deals.
The japanese industry is full of this practice. I am certain that the western industry does this all the time, and only now we are starting to see it, as information is easily shared nowadays.
