Openshot video editor does all the basic trimming and such and can save in webm format.
If you don't need to trim the clip just get ffmpeg and slap the code below in notepad and save as a .bat on your desktop. Then just drag your raw file onto the desktop, rename it input.mp4, and double click the .bat to get it started.
Should give you really good quality for videos about 2 minutes long in 16:9 . Take a look at for any extra information on how to change the resolution and do other fancy things including altering the bitrate to fit the video length.

The "cd %userprofile%/desktop" line will make it look at your desktop regardless of the name of your profile but if you want it to look in a different folder you can change that line to the path of whatever folder you want.

I would suggest not going over 720p since the bitrate needed to stay under the file limit means high resolution webms will be bit starved and due to the formatting of the site, 1080p webbums never display at their full resolution anyway.

Funny since it only took me a few weeks in blue prints. Even so I'de rather sit in an artists class and try while failing then endure house painting again. People like to express the pain in PAINting but even so the actual skills that go into it are much easier to learn if you simply take your time and adjust your mind to the concept. I also took some oil and water painting courses, that still doesn't make me interpret the expression any differently. Overall busting your joints and risking skin cancer or frost bite is a much worse fate I'de say.

I figured that the source is 4:2:0 so there wouldn't be much to gain from outputting 4:4:4, but some encoding autists insisted it would help with file size and quality so that's what I've been doing for a long time now. I've already created/posted so many webms in 4:4:4 and usually practically no one saves a newer version of the same shit, and since most people can play the 4:4:4 webms they probably don't care to save any 4:2:0 copies that appear anyways. So this isn't something that can be fully undone.

In short, it would be easier for the minority who can't play them to sort themselves out a working method since there's already plenty of 4:4:4 webms iin circulation that aren't going away.
