So I've been following this one Facebook socialist page for a few months and I've been able to witness its slow degeneration. Starting off fairly stable with a mixture of Socialists, ML's, a couple tankies and a fairly inevitable amount of Idpol.
A rule is put in place so Idpol is only to be discussed on Mondays, to keep the sheer amount of traffic down. But as time goes on, people keep ignoring it and soon the mods presumably give up. Eventually loads of people started getting disillusioned and began leaving in droves.
Now this is what I'm facing. Page after page of things along these lines, with almost everyone supporting them. Either this, or page after page of accusing anything and anyone of being brocialist if they don't place literally everything else above class struggle.
So I guess what I'm trying to get at is… Why is this so hard to counter and why are there so many of them? Do they not see how they're giving the right-wing so much ammunition and how they're so alienating to any actual thoughtful leftists?

because they have been brought up in an environment where their parents, their peers, the media they consume and the politicians their parents and peers support all enshrine idpol. It's seen as this pressing issue above all else that we MUST protect and empower women,LGBT and ethnic minorities above all else due to the lack of power they have comparative to the power 'we' have.
it's partly a reaction to conservatives being so openly opposed to these groups so the progressive idpolers entrench themselves harder and then the conservative idpolers entrench themselves even harder.
The thing is they are so used to the conservative opposition to their idpol that they don't know how to handle left wing criticism of it so just assume anybody opposed to their idpol must ergo be a conservative,'brocialist' or any other "you just hate people based on their societal group they are based in" insults
I'm sure you want to know how to beat the idpol and get them to refocus this zealotry onto class issues. I don't know how, I don't think anybody has an idea how to do it. The thing is that this idpol is re-enforced by the society around them so much that they just can't let it go. I used to think that if we were able to use the ideas of identity politics against them and get those groups they think are more valuable to say idpol is shit and we should focus on class issues they might flip around, but that doesn't work either they just call them an uncle tom or say they have internalised hatred of women and other excuses

It may make more sense when you see the comments made on the page for it. The issue is more the assertion that men are the inherent issue and especially in the line of "Only then can they join with women, and together build a new world."
The issue I have with it is that it's basically another case of people considering men to be the inherent problem. I mean… Cleaning dishes is not a political thing. That's something partners can discuss together. What the fuck is a Communist movement supposed to do about that? There's this weird tendency with idpol groups to effectively act as though women are inherently ideologically pure while men need to be educated.
To be clear, I agree with the message on the picture. It's just that it doesn't need to be a message and that the way it's worded only serves to drive home the idea that white males are inherently the problem. It's less a talk of unity and more a case of "You men need to catch up with women if you want to be revolutionary."
