Cooking in vyda

Is there any good games about cooking or has cooking as a gameplay feature?

Rune Factory has a lot of cooking in it, but I can't say it's done particularly well since you need to fulfill a level requirement in order to bake something, even if you have all the necessary ingredients. It's also brought down by the fact that some of the things you need in order to cook are season-specific, and it's such a pain in the ass growing something in another land corresponding to its season just so you can use it as an ingredient in a meal you have a x percentage of actually making correctly.

Pizza Syndicate

...

Dragon's Crown has a cooking session between levels, where you prepare the meat of the monsters, along with various vegetables and seasonings, and the better food you make, the better bonuses you get for the next area.

this seems popular

Great fucking game. It's also a great demonstration of how you can drastically change a game using level design without doing anything else.

Now I'm fucking hungry.

SUCO DE LARANJA

...

Everyday Lite
yes, im shilling my game sorry

That name sounds familiar. Weren’t you working on that like two years ago?

The cheese looks nice

Top pleb.

Iam still working on it
Everyday Lite is a vertical slice of Everyday Life
I released an update today, if anyone is against getting it on Steam i can release a standalone version on my devblog

Are there any rpgs where you can cook anything, like cooking rare boss part would give you special foodstuffs that grant mutation or swappable permabuff.
Materia + Monster hunter sorta

Maybe in some skyrim mod

Does this count as cooking?

É SUMO CARALHO, SUMO, APRENDAM A FALAR PORTUGÊS MACACOS DE MERDA!!!

A língua portuguesa é uma causa perdida.

...

Runescape

older generations made figures and heroes out of constellations
We make anime lewds out of spaghetti noodles.

...

Paper mario thousand year door has some chef that can cook for you in it. Its mostly skippable and unimportant. I only cooked every recipe to fill up the recipe logs. I had nothing better to do

...

...

suikoden 2

Any games with caloric and nutritional simulation that have waifus with responsive muscle and bodyfat% dependant on that system, asking for my dick

Project Zomboid is by the most intrinsic cooking mechanic I've ever seen so far
first you get to loot your ingredients in various ways, with it figure out recipes you can do (no need guessing though)
you can combine it several different ways, making sandwiches, stews, casseroles, baking pie, and even seasoning

I find it funny finding brazillian memes, starting a shitpost war though is not
was going to post that michel treme but didn't find it

Hueland is a meme, though. Like Cucknada or 'straya.

/namibia/ when?

All countries are memes user.

If you're going to eat non-Italian pizza do it right.

...

Are you eating soy pizza or something? There's nothing wrong with eating meat, cheese and bread.

Where are these spaghetti images coming from? Are they actual pictures or rendered?

Muh nigga.
Just looking at the food makes me want to eat Sauteed Minotaur Tongue.

Let me guess, that's American "pizza"

Dungeon Meshi vibe, I like it.

There was a thread a while back where some user found a website that turned images into spaghetti, I don't remember what website it was though

...

I guess user is just going to have to enjoy his pasta without sauce.

Been playing Battle Chef Brigade, kinda fun but some glaring problems. Pirate it, some of the food looks delicious.

Is there other games where it lets you eat hamburgers?

It wasn't hard to find, I believe in user. I don't remember having to make an account for it though.

It is far stupider to question veganism than it is to question eating certain animals over others.
Thinking eating monkeys is weird, when you still eat other animals, is fucking retarded.

i agree completely. the only argument against the dog one in particular is "i have a dog and it makes me angry."

any animal you spend time with will like you and show affection towards you, even fish, so i am very tired of this retarded pet logic. who gives a fuck.

I'm not vegan, but once you start reading vegan propaganda and opening your eyes a bit, you realize how fucking stupid people are who unquestionably eat everything available in current society.
It's like everyone is a hypocritical moron without any desire to admit they are ever wrong.
Not every day.
hmmmmmmmmmm…..
The hardest thing to deal with is my friends who are decent people in every other aspect in life refuse to even dip a toe into veganism. It's because the media has just brainwashed everyone into thinking drinking alcohol and eating animals is something we all MUST do.

You forgot to change your ID soy boy

nah i eat meat every day, i just dont get choosey about it like a fucking retard because ALL ANIMALS ARE THE SAME. i'd eat cat, i'd eat dog, i dont give a fuck and neither should you.
"b-but they like me"
look up videos of cows cuddling with human beings retard. they are the same thing

100% tbh

Okay, I hear you.
but let's ask the real question here champ.
would you eat Man Meat?

I didn't mean to change my ID. I'm elaborating on my point.

100 years from now eating animal products, when technology and food variety makes it completely unnecessary, will be like being racist today.

When you're complaining at thanksgiving about how there isn't a real dead bird on the table, your grand kids will all be laughing about how stupid and old grandpa is.

i think you can get diseases from cannibalism. need to research further.
but in a scenario where there were no laws against it or im in a crisis and i wasnt going to get some weird stomach parasite yes

That explains why you lack testosterone.

lol does this trigger you vegecuck?

The reason I'm not completely vegan and am only interested in it is because of the environmental impact.
The amount of resources and energy used to raise and slaughter billions of animals a year is astronomical. Beef is the least efficient meat available and Americans cherish it like gold. The amount of fresh water needed is insane.

It's just irritating seeing people argue about climate change, yet they laugh at veganism like it's a joke.
It's the most infuriating thought process and completely hypocritical.

I grew up in California where people are generally liberal and act like they care, but bring up veganism and everyone gets defensive.

...

And I believe pulling out of the Middle East was a huge mistake and Democrats need to drop their gun control boner.

Are you seriously making a post about how you don't understand the concept of husbandry?

...

Rune factory in general is great for cooking. Sometimes you can guess the components, but since the possible combinations are too many, you can buy recipes. Elona has cooking but it's mostly luck based.

The pig is one of the animals with a more efficient grass to edible matter conversion ratio. Cows follow closely and have the added bonus of dairy.
Good luck screening every single bug for pathogens.

...

The ones I can think of are; Adventure Bar Story, Battle Chef Brigade, Cook Serve Delicious, Cooking Mama, and that one Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit!

Otherwise the ones that aren't particularly about Cooking but have a pretty extensive system? Well, Breath of the Wild has a pretty good one, Any of the Atelier series has some food stuffs but it's just mostly about crafting in general if that's your thing. Dragon's Crown was also mentioned

Pathetic

Selling 5k lobbies 200 ea
But seriously, Runescape had a pretty involved cooking skill for its time, at least back in the day.

Pigs also have a pretty high edible to non-edible body part ratio.

What's a game that has a good cooking mechanics that don't shave you just fucking throw shit on a fire in 1 click and bam you got food? Bonus points if it's in a RPG?

Arx Fatalis

I forgot the name of it, and the one I was fucking around with may well be dead. But someone put together some code using neural networks that can superimpose the style of an image onto the structure of another, so the Spaghetti one is just a tiny sample of what you can do with it. Popular ones are superimposing the style of Starry Night or various Kandinsky works onto things. Though not everything works well.

There are various web apps, you can also find the source on github and try to use it directly.

pic

your head and the joke were miles apart

...

you have to keywords there: efficient and americans
and I agree with you, beef is the least efficient source, and the culture is to blame for it, I too live in one of the worlds biggest livestock producers, (brazil) if you can believe it, isn't only about sopa de macaco,
but the thing is, its about how the culture and how it consumes food, literally consumerism, burgers for americans and churrasco for brazillians,
you don't need to go vegan either, only need to take a balanced approach, change the view on food from a consumer item to a sustenance necessity
I still eat loads of meat (pork and chicken) because I need a protein rich diet, but still most of what I eat consists of vegetables and byproducts

(checked)
open wide the website is called deepart.io
you feed it pic related #1 and the picture you want spaghettified and it'll turn into something like pic related #2
there's a catch though, the owner is a filthy hook nosed kike and if you don't pay some sort of subscription it adds a watermark at the bottom to each image and after a few conversion it starts making you wait several fucking minutes unless you change ip and keeps asking you for 15 dollars to subscribe over and over and over
sage for off topic

I wish there are more burgers in games

Thanks desu

the new duke nukem had a cooking level if I recall correctly, on the moon I think

Monster Hunter. Really most Japanese RPGs in general, the nips love their food porn a whole fucking lot.

It's not that inefficient, you get two sources of food from a cow. Milk and beef. You're completely ignoring the milk factor here. And I think part of it is genetic even, I'm fairly sure the Anglo and Germanic tongue is predisposed to liking milk and beef because they've had to live with it for so long.
Maybe, but it's also fucking delicious. Booze is almost the exact same thing, it's a ridiculous process in making it and there isn't really any reason to make it, but it's still a massive fucking industry. We are at a pretty advanced stage of civilization now, so we demand a higher standard of life and waste things because we can. Shit happens, glad you could join us here at the top of the food chain.

that's delicious

This shit is spaghetti? I thought it was worms

lol
