Killing List

So what games did you beat this year, Holla Forums? I'll start:

- SUPERHOT
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
- Brothers: A Tale of Two sons
- Night in The Woods
- Nier: Automata
- Bloodborne
- Late Shift
- Persona 5
- Shovel Knight
- Doom (og)
- Hiveswap Act 1
- Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
- Cuphead
- OneShot (with Solstice)
- Metroid: Zero Mission
- AM2R
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Doki Doki Literature Club

Bully me as you wish

Nothing
I have a huge backlog and some games i want to play that are released this year but i don't have the drive for it. Fuck man, i gave up Sonic Mania when i reached the final zone because it looked like an endless chore.

Nobody is forcing you to play videogames

Nioh
Deadspace
Musou stars

I think that's it.

Fucking hell I don't keep track like that.
Though I did just finish MGS5.
Going back to playing KSP and Factorio now.

I'll bully you for playing the Undertale of VN:s and nothing else.

Dead Space 1 + 2
Hover
Mario Kart 8
Streets of Fury EX
Shantae: 1/2 genie
Transistor
Painkiller: H&D
Darksiders II
Snorederlands

I've been playing the hell out of Endless Legend, but it'd be stupid to say you can 'beat' what is essentially a board game.

I am been having having a kick for multiplayer games for a while, so I haven't played many single player games as I used to. Any recommendations? If it can be emulated well, I'll start a backlog.

Obligatory meme chart.

Metal Slug 4
a couple routes in G-Darius

Shit, was that all? I've also gotten dangerously close to beating Dimahoo with a monster score. I might have Ikaruga beaten before the end of the year, if I can learn its obnoxious final boss already.

Toukiden
Redeemer
Can't remember what else I played earlier this year. I don't really keep track.

Abyss Odysset
Ace of Seafood
Alan wake
Anti-chamber
The Banner Saga
Bastion
Batman Arkham Asylum - City
Shovel Knight (and Plague of shadows and Specter of Torment)

It's hard for me to make a list like this because time in my head is really hard to measure. It's because I've been NEET for 4 years now, I think. Also because my life is all the same, there's no big events to help me timeline things.

I started Nier not too long ago, but I quit very close to the end. I recently went back to finish it off and found I couldn't remember much of the story despite only a short time passing since I last played, a year at most. A year at most, I was certain. But when I looked at my last save, it was actually three years since I last touched the game. Three years.

Oh shit
I have a similar problem and I try to not let the game be "on hold" for too long, I must have similar cases with games that I just forgot and are still in the HDD. I try putting it on a desktop note, but even then there are games here that I don't touch in months so it doesn't help so much

Nier: Automata
Persona 5
Fallout 1
Pillars of Eternity
Tyranny
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, & Call of Pripyat
Hyper Light Drifter

The rest are multiplayer-focused or simulations that don't have a winning end state, or simply on hiatus. I'll finish them soon, I swear ;_;

Saved to use later. Thanks user.

Got my first Tales of Maj'Eyal win finally.
Temporal Warden was the ticket.

Same. I have a ridiculous backlog of games and yet I barely play any of them all the way.

I got to the last stage of Odyssey, beat a first playthrough of NieR and Persona 5, and– for some reason– sunk a few hundred hours into Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth. Nothing else of note, though.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Dead Rising (saved all but two survivors, quite proud of that)
Company of Heroes and expansions
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Mafia 2
Arma 3's singleplayer campaigns
Halo Wars PC
Surely there were more than that? There's a load I've started but not finished but I could have sworn I've beaten more than 7 games in the past 12 months!

I understand what you mean completely 100% anons. The amount of times shit like that has happened to me is silly, like I started a Mount & Blade: Warband save this time last year and gave it a break thinking I'd go back to it after Christmas. A year later and I still haven't picked it back up.
I don't know about you guys, but I tend to start a game, get really far, stop playing for a couple months for various reasons and then forget where I was and what was happening in the story, so I restart it and the cycle continues. Either that or I spend bloody ages trying to install a shit-tonne of mods I hand pick for a game usually Skyrim or FNV, but when I actually start the game I only last a couple weeks before starting to lose interest.

This type of shit is cancer.

That's all folks OwO

I am probably forgetting some more. I'll finish Pushmo by the end of the year. I would've finished more games if I hadn't wasted my time on trash like Shadow of War, Doom and Asscreed

How the fuck do you even remember what you were playing?

Beating Samus Returns right now, anything I should beat before the year ends? Preferably something easy to emulate/on the freeshop

Ace Combat 3 JP

Fuck video games.

Calling it that is honestly an insult to Undertale.

Hammerwatch and Divinity original sin 2.

The only thing I remember beating this year was Castlevania Bloodlines for the Genesis (on my hacked 3DS). I recommend it a lot, it's fun, short and has plenty of variety, along with one of the best final stage songs ever made, vid related.

Vendetta
Super Final Fight Gold Plus
Power Hover
Air Zonk
Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair

All on hardest difficulties usually. I am probably forgetting a few games.

And a lot more hours went into Rainbow Six: Siege. Maybe it was this year that I actually finished all episodes of Duke Nukem 3D and Quake. Maybe if I'm quick enough I can finish my Insane Difficulty-Cold Start-No Saves run of Descent 1 and get that Ninja Gaiden 1cc.

I really fucking love that you can pass throught the whole game without shredding a bullet
It becomes a better joke game that it already is, such a great idea.

I played 200 hours of Black Desert Online

...

Congrats on beating New Vegas though not a lot of people fucking do that.

Why is it the Undertale of VN?
Because it got popular and has meta-"gameplay"?
also

Nioh
Owlboy
Breath of the Wild
Super Mario Odyssey
I think the witcher 3, could have been last christmas, time sorta just blends together at this point
At the final stage of sonic mania still because it's a pain in the ass and I'm angry at it
Only got through the first world of cuphead

I've mostly just been playing multiplayer vidya this year

Way too many to count.

All the Souls games including Bloodborne.
Cuphead
Nier Automata
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and I think Human Revolution
Zelda OoT and MM
Super Mario 64
Witcher 1, 2 and 3

I'm forgetting a bunch to be sure.

Counting expansions as separate games

Phoenix Wright 1
Metal Gear 1
F.E.A.R
Crysis
VA-11 Hall-A
Yume Nikki
F.E.A.R Extraction Point
Doom 1
Half-Life 1

OGBattlefront 1
Lugaru HD
Half Life Blue Shift
Republic Commando
Metal Gear 2
Metal Gear Solid
OGBattlefront 2
Half Life Decay
Halo CE
Splinter Cell 1
Half Life 2

Granted I was replaying most of these and I only started to get into playing video games again in August after a year long break. Going to try to have more variety in what I play next year.

Just some old, obscure, short PC games, nothing really serious.
I don't really bother with long games anymore, everytime i'm halfway one of those there's some fucking stupid load error/save corruption or my computer just craps out and dies, ruining all my progress and making me go through all those unskippable tutorials and slow starts again.

Dear Esther
700 hours of Warframe
500 hours of War Thunder
50 hours of League of Legends
100 hours of Stellaris
75 hours of Heroes and Generals
150 hours of Paladins
75 hours of Mechwarrior Living Legends
100 hours of Mechwarrior Online
100 hours of Starcraft 2
75 hours of Mount and Blade Warband
200 hours of From the Depths
50 hours of Payday 2
75 hours of Insurgency
150 hours of Star Conflict
75 hours of Avorion
25 hours of Dirty Bomb
I completely cleaned out my backlog in 2016 and only added Dear Esther in 2017

The bio of the author that made that cat manga was sad as fuck.

Every single 3D sonic except for Sonic 06 (I tried, and I would have been fine, but Silver's stages were just too fucking bad)
Also Sonic Mania
Every 3D Mario except for 3D Land and 3D World (I like 3D World but it's too recent for me to want to replay it. Not big on 3D Land, though).
Dai Gyakuten Saiban 1 and 2 (Masterpieces that will never get translated)
Breath of the Wild (if you count all main quests as clearing. i've started a master mode run and i've got a long ways to go)
REmake (Only Chris, though)
SMTIII

I know there are more but I have a shit memory when it comes to temporal stuff like this.

Gunman Clive (Wow, that fuckin' soundtrack)
GTA V
Wolfenstein: The New Order
The Witcher 2

I've got like 5-6 other games that i'm half way through. Kinda disappointed that I haven't finished more games.

This thread made me realize that I don't actually play or like videogames all that much.

A question:
How do you remember what you were playing without getting reminded of these games?
inb4 "just don't have a shit memory"

All I can remember is Ultra Moon, Everything else is just a blur. Not like USUM was a good game anyway.

Oh wait, I remember now. Super Mario Odyssey and the Nonary Games. Although I had to use a guide for some parts of the latter, and it was pirated.

Surprisingly few
Besiege Though that was months ago so there's probably more levels now
RwR campaign mode
Hell Yeah
Super Cat Planet
DynaMarisa 3D
SUPERHOT
Also some H-games but I don't think those count

Please tell me you pirated (((Hiveswap))).

I used to keep a list but now I just check the memory card and move any games I've completed to an external hard drive unless its completely dogshit in which case I delete it.

If beating a game you've already beaten before counts then
else
Hidden Star in Four Seasons bad end on normal should be on the list before NYE. Would've gotten it sooner if the leafs weren't indistinguishable from projectiles 4th stage onwards.

*With extra stage completed but without phantasm
