RWBY

Do we have a more specific release date for Blazblue Cross Tag Battle? Has the new update made Grimm Eclipse more playable than the demo?

Post Ruby porn

Who do you wanna see in Cross Tag Battle that isn't already in the game?

RWBY is cancer. It's poorly written by ecelebs who got famous from poorly writing a machinima series that decided to get edgy for some reason. It's poorly animated by hacks who can't get the basics down. Anyone who actually enjoys this piece of shit series is not actually a human being and their opinions should be disregarded.

Fuck Japan for enabling this shit show and deciding to put it into the same game as BlazBlue.

Here's what's wrong with RWBY.

Scythe's are so tragically underused in vidya.

I don't like RWBY because of what posted and because of what's said in: youtube.com/watch?v=GkOlhFhpGIk but I'll say there's good moveset potential for a fightan among the characters. It's interesting how the best thing RWBY related i.e. the porn is stuff Cock Bite doesn't have any involvement with.
Also Sheena killed Monty and no one can convince me otherwise.

...

Grimm Eclipse was just fine by the time it got to Steam. Every character had unique moves, all of which fed into how they could be played. Ruby was easy to play and broken, but was more fragile than the tank-like Yang, and could never be as good in single-combat or AoE as a Weiss who specialized in one or the other (on top of only Weiss getting a party heal). Blake constantly had the beta testers bitching about her being underpowered, despite the fact she had the most dynamic moveset and was easily the best of the four in the right hands.

It wasn't perfect, but with better enemy AI and some adjustments for things like ranged attacks, it could have been fine. Better level design, better graphics, all of that shit. But no - they made the graphics even worse, because people running the game on toasters were getting fucked. So the models, from the show, were replaced with crappy variants. And worst of all - they removed all of the special powers, and replaced them with a shitty combo system which was the same for every character. The ultimates? Same.

Fuck RT and their development studio, they threw away a perfectly average game and turned it shit.

Jojo.
Persona X Jojo fightan never.

Eww

Rick & Morty's better tbh

Please fucking kill yourself my man.

what the fuck is with the amount of futa ruby

...

As much as I like ky, he isn't that good in xrd and I feel this game wouldn't do him well.

/rwby/ is a surprisingly good board. Probably because it's mainly about examining the show from a technical standpoint, rather than being a fan of it. And because most of the anons there are people who were fans of Monty, rather than RT, and are just sticking with RWBY to see his last work end, no matter how good or bad it is. It's really, really bad, and we want to understand exactly why. That said, you can occasionally catch glimpses of the vision that he was working towards, buried underneath all the shit. I sometimes wonder if the people who treat RWBY like it's a 10/10 show are seeing those glimpses and think it qualifies it as the real deal, or if they're seeing something completely different.

It probably wouldn't be like this if Monty had just died a normal death that people could move on from, but instead, we're on this ride until RT finishes driving RWBY into the ground, or we get a smoking gun on Sheena. Both of those could take years, and I wanted off of this ride two years ago.

In one of Rooster Teeth's many podcasts where they get almost always get hammered by the end, years ago, one of the girls Pretty sure it was Lindsay herself, I'm not combing that mess though said she was intersex
Apparently some people thought it was canon and ran with it

Worse kind.
=Worse kind!==

fug

Opened the wound all over again. God damn fuck Rooster Teeth. It amazes me they make money despite being some of the worst human beings to ever exist.

Monty, on Twitter, seemed to be accepting of the cat idea, so saying she forced him is a at least an exaggeration. However, her actions after his entering the coma were nothing but opportunistic. There's no particular evidence that she deliberately set the events into motion, but she sure as shit positioned herself to profit from it once she understood what was happening. Reminder that she didn't even inform his family that he was in trouble before pulling the plug. I wish we knew more about what happened at the doctor, but the only writing about that time-frame is from Shane's letter, which is suspicious as fuck when it comes to anything involving Sheena. The letter claims that Monty was unrecoverable, but to my knowledge, that's never been verified anywhere else. If that were to be proven false, it would make it pretty fucking clear what happened. But even then, is that considered murder?

Again, there's no evidence that she tried to kill him. But with how opportunistic she's proven to be, I don't think it's out of the question.

(Checked)

It's fine user, the balls are on the inside

What happened for him to 180 on that if he wasn't even willing to tolerate them in the same building at RT?

fixed

...

Monty Oum wasn’t perfect, but by god he tried
And Rooster Teeth and his wife shat all over him

He loved her so he was thinking with his benis.

She probably offered him pussy if he let her keep her pussy
(checked)
Pussy pass

On one hand yes. But on the other hand you would have to be a vile, terrible person to even think about putting your chosen life mate in the same environment near something that can very easily kill you if you so much as look at it. So in this case yes he was stupid. But on the other hand I'm more willing to forgive stupidity than what she did. Either she was completely retarded and thought it wasn't as a big of a deal as she thought (which she must have obviously known better since there's no way Monty didn't make this abundantly clear) or she knew from the start and completely fucking toyed with him.

What ever ended up happening over the supposed drama that the rwby models were ripped from mmd or something like that?

Nothing, no one ever bothered checking with SEGA

...

We're glad to have you on board man.
Keep moving forward.

That's hot.

Have you ever seen something which filled you with such a content feeling, ascending eroticism and feelings of lust, where you have found pure beauty; an aesthetic pinnacle, and finally understood how things should be? I have not felt this way since I saw women in male business attire and trawled the internet to amass a collection of pictures depicting them.

interesting

Is that
SHADMAN ?

no.

it's Jlullaby

Ok

Shadman hosts his art on his site and does his dialogue bubbles too by the looks of it. At some point he started drawing nigger cuckoldry, and i'm pretty sure him working with Shadman is why.

So its in part Shadman.

Partially, but he still makes things that aren't completely repulsive. His stuff is still worth looking at from time to time.

got more?

certainly aint bad if you need a break from vanilla doujins and wanna see a girl get a dick shoved right down her throat and nutted in her guts

So, you're kike on a neo-nazi board, huh.

I always thought RWBY was some shitty animu, I'm just finding out in this thread that it's some shitty western machinima show by cancerous SJW e-celebs.
And this shit is actually popular in Japan? Fucking how?

...

we've long been over the fact that japan also has casuals

Not really, no. It's just being forced by the usual suspects.

look nigger, sometimes i wanna see some tomboys get lovingly dicked down and sometimes i wanna see a bitch get tied up and stuffed, its not complex

...

...

They like Ai Kizuna too, and that's just a let's player with Facerig. The Japanese are no different than the U.S. when it comes to eating shit.

...

hold on, I'm illiterate.

good man

...

Everything that's wrong with it starts and ends with Monty's death. I can forgive whatever apparent model plagiarism may have taken place, and I can forgive many concepts not being fully explored or explained after the first two seasons, all because the fight scenes were fun to watch, characters looked good, and the world building was going somewhere interesting. The notion was that Monty was going to continue taking things somewhere in future seasons and there was no reason to believe it was about to go sour. It didn't pan out that way after he died. Nobody else at RT has or had the capability of doing anything good with that material.

Why are we here?

My nigga. Feel free to dump on another board any time.

...

It's just a fun, silly show that isn't trying too hard to be good.

That translates into “its shit and I know it is shit but I have low standards”

Having high standards isn't a good thing, it just means you enjoy less.

I watched a couple of episodes of RWBY
It was the most pathetic autistic shit I have ever seen, god damn it was equal parts terrible and cringe. I certainly hope nobody here watches that garbage unironically

>>>/rwby/36088

It's utter shit, and you know it.

I'm hoping CT is great, but I'm curbing my enthusiasm. At the moment it looks fairly low budget, especially since what little we've even seen of the RWBY characters looks unfinished; I don't see it getting more than a small following with maybe one Evo on a Saturday. I'll still grind it out if it's well made; just making team combinations from all the characters should keep me very entertained.

RWBY is a fun show. Plenty flawed but also plenty charming. Characters are fun, the setting shows potential after volume 3, and it's got some of the better fight choreography in recent years from the west all in my opinion
I hate all online discussion about it, though. The show itself seems like they're just having fun, but the fanbase seems like shit when they do anything besides enjoy the show.
Monty was incredibly skilled and seems like he was a good dude, but he was just a guy. Not a god, not a hero, just a guy. Deifying him, or acting as if everything would be great if he were alive is cancerous especially since volumes 1+2 sucked outside of the fights

Stop playing damage control, Miles. No one likes V4 and V5.

I don't /like/ them but I don't think they're dreadful

...

I knew the game was mediocre so I didn't waste money on it, but that's just a Capcom-tier fuck up. Jesus.

Volumes 1 and 2 have great fight animation, but storywise they're weak and do nothing besides develop the characters. It's only in volume 3 that you get payoff, and to be fair it's very good payoff in my opinion. 4 is good again, but they dragged themselves down by changing animation software so fight choreography takes a hit aside from two good bouts. I haven't watched any of 5 yet.

4 was mostly good, behind 3 but ahead of 1 and 2. 5 I haven't seen yet, so for all I know you're right and I'll hate it. Guess you're gonna have to shitpost harder until I change my mind.

Thank you anons, stay glorious

Fuck you miles it used to be decent to look at, now it looks like a horribly rendered sfm porn video.

This perception only holds any truth up to Volume 3, everything post V3/Monty's death is as far removed from silly fun as you can get. It's all just talking and serious drama now, and the one thing everyone wants (FIGHT SCENES) is constantly teased but rarely delivered, and even then their quality varies with an overarching decline. They're only postponing the fight scenes at this point because RT knows they don't have the talent or effort to deliver something even halfway on the level of Monty, let alone consistently. They're hoping that the endless build-up will make up for that fact so everyone will look past it, but that leaves everyone with several episodes filled with nothing but more build-up, more exposition, and more nothing. For M&K climaxes and pay-offs need to be grandiose things, but everything leading up to that is boring as sin. I might sound pedantic for preferring quantity over 'quality' like in V3 given that the fight scenes is when the show is at its most creative, but when quality is out of the question, fuck it.

V4 and 5 are not painful because they're shit, but because they're boring shit, and I have no reason to believe V5 will grow to become anything better unless it decides to pay off. Which is why V4 and 5 might as well be merged into one with most of the filler cut out in order to keep the pacing consistent.

I see what you're getting at, but I don't think that's a fair judgment. Yes, it gets darker as of V3, but not being light hearted doesn't mean it can't be fun to watch, and I was still very much having fun. Hell, v3 and 4 still have lots of light hearted moments, so calling them doom and gloom isn't fair either. Especially since 1 and 2 foreshadow the tone shift so damn heavily.

If we're going by fight count, 4 is just a little behind 1 or 2 in quantity, while 3 had a fight in every episode. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that 5 is too much buildup with too little action, but 4 never left me wanting. It's probably mostly that I prefer getting a good few fights with good buildup/stakes than getting a fight every episode with not enough buildup, in which case I don't think we'll change each other's minds.

I'm predicting this is the cycle that RWBY will go by; two volumes of progression with one volume of big payoff.

There's not enough piercings or the obnoxious ruined eyeliner to have it be Shadman's work. Also to what said of the dialogue bubble.

Is Grim Eclipse any good?
Also I know jack about this series, is there anything about it worth watching/playing?

Bullshit. V1 and V2 had plenty of payoff, and that's factoring the fact that V1 is both about half the length, and has the fucking Jaune Arc. V1E8 has not been surpassed by anything in V4 onward, and the Nuckelavee damned well should have been a chance for it to. But no - the current staff are writing fights and shit as shitty fights, rather than doing what the show was supposed to: give the set-up to interesting and creative fight sequences involving interesting and creative weapons held by interesting and creatively designed characters.

That's not being done anymore. The last "good" parts of RWBY were in V3. Since then, the only thing worthwhile has been a couple of the songs.

The problem with the constant build up and the tone shift is that the payoff isn't satisfying enough for it to be impactful
I don't think it was a good idea for the darker turn and to kill of characters like they did. The series seemed like it was cut out more for a villain of the week setup with an overarching plot of finding parents and fighting that chick with the fire powers
They still could have done the turn but after becoming more comfortable with what they were doing. It seems to me they jumped into the deep end without knowing how to swim that well

He drew plenty of that before then.

I can't believe there are faggots here who seriously watch and follow this garbage enough to discuss the plot and shit. I thought anons couldn't fall lower than bronies, yet here we are.

Like? Keep in mind that what you say there can be compared to what happens in V4.
I completely agree. The fight wasn't bad, but it should have been way better. I can forgive it since the Tyrian fights were so good, but objectively I recognise it should have been better.

Arguably all true. I accept the shift because IMO it did it well, and because V2 screamed in my face so hard that a change was happening. Most of the characters we did lose Pyrrha and technically Ozpin felt like they'd been given a complete payoff, like they were meant to die from the start.
Maybe you're right and I'd have liked that episodic version more, though. I get I'm in the minority here, but I don't feel like they floundered in V4; each character had their place, their arc, and most came out better for it.

All signs point to no, just a cheap game for fans of the show. Hold out for BB:CT, I suggest
it's alright. Plenty flawed, but you'll decide for yourself if its charm outweighs its weaknesses. Vols 1+2 are slow, but 3 gives good payoff. Get that far in and you'll know if it's something you'll like.

V1:
0. Episode 1 just introduces everyone, but even it pays off later.
1. Emerald Forest Arc. Everyone finds their partners. Jaune fucks up and walks into a Death Stalker. Giant feather to show the fuckhueg Nevermore. Payoff: Giant fight scene.
2. Weiss Bitchfit Arc. Weiss throws a bitchfit. Ruby learns more about herself, Weiss comes to understand herself a bit better. Payoff: The two get closer and develop in their roles. It doesn't really stick and comes way too quickly, but that has to do with shitty writing more than anything else.
3. Jaune Arc. Jaune is a little bitch. Jaune gets treated like a little bitch. Jaune writes Cardin a paper. This paper becomes relevant later. Ruby spills back the shit she learned last arc, linking the story in consistency. Payoff: Jaune mans the fuck up a little. Again, the writers don't always stick to this that well.
4. Blake Arc. A guy shows up. Weiss is racist. We find out the Weiss is justified in being racist. We find out that Blake is a Faunus (as if it wasn't obvious). Blake runs away. Penny is introduced. Payoff: Blake meets Sun. Episode 1 pays off in that we finally get a link to the main plot, now that the characters are finally introduced. Blake grows closer to the team. We get to see Penny shoot a laser beam and slice things apart with swords. The director commentary reveals, unsurprisingly, that Monty did all of this shit on his own, and the writers were irritated at him for revealing what Penny could do so early. Fuck them.

V2:
Here, the writers get a lot more time to shine, Monty has less of a say, and it really shows - because this volume is in a few ways quite a bit weaker. We get the food fight and some other shit, but it's really only the fight big fights (the Paladin and the ones on the Train) that really shine. We get Shane's little scene with Mercury in the middle as well, which looks pretty good, and Monty animates a dance scene. So there's still a bit of fun and action, but yeah, it definitely suffers - mostly in that the writers poor ability to deal with proper character development.

The last episode is alright, but I'm definitely in the boat it was a bit disappointing. It's clear that they were rushing hard to get this shit done, what with stuff like that one fucking Beowulf with the twisting front limbs.

V3:
Random bullshit happens and then suddenly the end comes. The ending definitely did have some cool parts - I did like Ruby outright impaling the fuckhueg Nevermore with Penny's sword. Even the writing for her speech wasn't bad. Qrow made the volume decent simply be existing in it, along with Ironwood.

Unfortunately, even those two can't carry the shit that is V4 and V5. They're bad, and they're boring. And they don't have anyone on their staff who can redeem it. Pretty much the only thing that could save RWBY is being brought under the control of a completely different company.

Just here to remind you folks that if you watch this shit your opinion is literally beyond worthless.

Alright, here's what happens off the top of my head in volume 4.

Right from the first episode, the inner circle and the main villain are revealed. Cinder, the main villain up until now, is shown to be just an underling low on this ladder; immediately the stakes are elevated. We also hear their plans and see Cinder terribly injured from what Ruby did to her, drawing further intrigue to Ruby's untapped power. Setup and payoff in one scene.
Then we see team RNJR fight a powerful grimm to protect a village. It's an air of normalcy with an almost RPG vibe, to quickly convey that the team's bonded on the road and learned to coordinate as a team. It shows both of these.
The very next episode goes further and shows the weight everyone's under. Ruby's having nightmares and the grimm fucking shit up. As well done as the grimm fights in past volumes were, I never found them threatening until 4. Jaune gets weary of it, showing both grief and strength of character - in other words, he's developed hard from the past three volumes, in a way that's stuck.

Tyrian gets the best fights of the volume, toying with team RNJR, foreshadowing Jaune has untapped power on Ruby's level. Qrow fights, almost dies, and Ruby cuts off Tyrian's tail. Right after we're given an origin story for the conflict, plus Qrow's nearly going to die.

Ren and Nora get the entire finale for their characters, which I thought was well due and worked well. Jaune and Ruby also give each other some catharsis for all the shit that's been going on, which was also due. Then they defeat the Nuckelavee and avenge Ren's hometown. Cinder and Tyrian are training to get revenge, Haven's professor is in cahoots with the bad guys, and Ruby accomplishes her goal - get her and the team to Haven so they can protect it against Salem. Overall there's technically more setup than payoff, but not a heap more to make it uneven.

Then there's the character arcs for the other main characters, like Weiss. We get payoff for the ice queen we've seen thus far by getting an idea how fucked up her family is. Ironwood gives exposition and worldbuilding. Jacques shows through action how terrible a father he is and what Weiss has had to wrestle with her life. Further payoff later on in establishing Atlas, Weiss mastering summoning, and escaping with the dwarf's help.
Yang arc: a self contained, short but sweet arc for a character going through depression. Great scene with Tai and the professors
Blake arc: way more setup than payoff, but at least it opens up the world a bit. Please tell me you get it from here, I'm not a Blake fan

So no, I can't agree that it's boring. Look, I ain't saying you have to objectively love or respect V4, feel free to think what you want. But to say it had fucking nothing is bollocks.

RWBY is fucking gay, nigger.

Have you got a version of that which isn't a shitty thumbnail?

niggers
