If it were free, I could see the logic there, but paying 500 for a demo is stupid, especially if you don't even think the demo is a good enough representation of the game to use as a final judge of whether it's worth getting or not.
They have outright said there are no solo-only quests anymore, everything is multiplayer.
Then you obviously haven't seen the footage. In one of the earlier videos they show a pair of monsters fighting, and thanks to the damage number values we could see one of them do an amount of damage that was more than 6 times the amount a Level 3 Greatsword charge did to the monster's head earlier in the video. But hey, that's totally what mounting does, right?
I didn't say anything like that though, I said the retarded dance of running around the map to touch points was stupid and pointless and only dragged things out longer.
No you don't.
But you can do the gathering halls solo. World's system precludes that possibility.
Funny, I could say the same about you.
They've been doing this for months now.
So going through unnecessary shit to get to the actual fight.
That looks like the stupidest thing in the world and such a waste of time at best, and an easy escape from a bad situation at worst.
Making the game easier by letting them tear each other up for you while you take free safe shots on them.
So more free damage/locks on monsters to make it even easier.
Seriously, how does any of this sound remotely good to you? Also on the off chance you're not a shitposter, DQ11's been out since July, and it's even on the FreeShop, so you might as well get it now
Mate, I want the game to be good. I would love nothing more than for it to defy all my expectations and turn out to be a great game. There's too many bad games out there as is, and I've seen too many series I love killed, of course I don't want more. That said, when they come right out and say in one of the first interviews after the reveal that it's being built specifically for people who don't like the games, and every piece of information shown since makes the game look worse and worse, it's hard to really stay optimistic.
