The best we can hope for is that games start having seperate "competative" and "casual" control schemes and game modes so that jew executives can have their mass appeal and cult appeal too.

Guilty Gear did a good job of this with their "stylish" vs "regular" control styles, as did p4 arena with their "mash a single button to do a sick ass combo at the expense of your meter." It really helped teach me sick ass combos in a way similar to rock smith.

TLDR: Tutorials built into playstyles and seperate areas for casuals and competatives will save competative gaming. We have to bridge the gap.

I've had enough duels on aerowalk where initial spawns have put me in a much better position to get stack than the other guy and just generally start me off stronger at the beginning to know that it isn't completely the case.

Will the match overall be decided by who's the better player? Sure, for the most part that's the case. But there are definitely at the very least slight differences in how advantageous your spawn is at the beginning, which is at least something. And that's to say nothing of spawnfragging, too.

Sure it does. The computer is comparable to any single sports event like tripple-jump, where the sportsman's execution is all that counts under given rules.

AoE2 has recently started rebuilding its community. The Definitive Edition is coming out soon, and AoE4 next year. That might be good enough to save the genre.

The biggest problem with e-sports outside of it being just shit is the fact that the players don't give a shit about the actual games. They'll play anything as long as they're getting paid for it.

I do love competitive fighting but competitive Puyo or Tetris is always worth watching. Catherine, as silly as it is, is also hilarious. I wish someone made a whole game based around that multiplayer with online play.

I find tourneys way more fun when they're not tied to e-sports. AnimeEVO can get away with much crazier commentary and games because it's not held on the standard as the main stage games. For this reason, AnimEVO is way more fun to watch while also having a larger variety of games like Catherine, Puyo, Gundam, and various anime fighters.
