Dragon Age Inquisition won GOTY in it's year. I don't think we need to do any meme magic.

Game awards tend to heavily favor games released later in the year, since apparently the people voting on them have the memory of a goldfish.
November is usually the big month, but this year it seems unusually sparse in AAA releases. There's CoD, as usual, NuBattlefront 2, and…nothing else, really.

Uncharted 4 came out last year. But yeah, they did have that Uncharted: DIVERSITY game. On one hand, I didn't hear much of anything about it, so maybe it flopped and nobody cares?
