youtube.com/watch?v=kGiYxCUAhksStill want to do my trick or treat 'haunted house' where it's me in a chair dressed as IT and telling kids to take a full bar of candy surrounded by clowns

They better not cancel Halloween. It's the best time of year

‘Rona gonna reck shit. Halloween is like my favorite time of year. I dress up, scare kids, and give them handfuls of candy (I buy a lot so I don’t run out). Throughout October, I usually visit haunted houses and do autumn-related things. It’s all ruined now. The streets are going to be empty. At least I can still binge horror movies.

>>137808975I would light myself on fire if that happens, it’s on the perfect day this year

>>137808713He doesn’t say that

>>137808999last year was perfect weather but most parents still took their kids to the mallsfinally saw how they did their halloween and it was depressing

>>137809030I thought he yells that at the gas station to the goofy black guy?

>>137808975>>137809014Just expect it to be completely cancelled this year and make peace with it. Your expectations will only disappoint you. In light of this, I plan to drink lots of cider and watch a downright unhealthy amount of horror flicks. That's just how it's gonna be this year

Don't even get me started on all the halloween specials on TV that sitcoms used to have. I obviously wasn't too interested in them, but I loved how everything was set up. SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES.

>>137817614Same. I hate that slashercels who project on the character whined until they changed the original idea for what Halloween was going to be.

>>137817726>>137818072Yep. My absolute most fondest memories are of the days leading up to Halloween when I was in elementary school. It's the memories I cherish the most because it was all before things started turning to shit, starting in middle school. Many nights I spend thinking back to those evenings when the school would have some cookouts, and I and my other classmate friends would be on the school playgrounds after hours as the sun set with its beautiful orange and red hues, turning into purple and blue for the late evening. The smells of the food, the decorations of hay and pumpkins outside. It was all just so wonderful. I recall in, I believe it was either second or third grade, we painted and carved some of those little pumpkins and displayed them outside the classroom. That was so nice. Yeah. Elementary school was nice. Middle school and onwards was hell, until a few years into college and things are going alright for me now.

>>137808975They already canceled Halloween horror nights at universal so it ruined my Halloween

>>137818626I think one of my favorite Halloween memories was going to this Haunted house with my dad. this old dude would build it every year, and it was pretty fucking impressive for just being in some neighborhood. I think there were like 10 rooms and he'd just donate all the money to firefighters after Halloween ended. I only went twice because I guess he got too old to keep it up every year.

has anyone seen an anthology called "Tales of Halloween"? I just found it on Amazon Prime, it's supposed to be like Trick R Treat

>>137818927never heard of it but I'll check it out this weekend

fellas, start updating your tiered infographics on movies and tv episodes for this halloween. I feel like shit and it will only get worse. I need to be spoonfed comfy creepy suggestions.

>>137808975>tfw Halloween has just about died out in my neighborhood over the past decade anywaysFeels bad, I remember it being absolutely nuts back in the day and my parents would get hundreds of trick or treaters coming by the house. Nowadays most of them are just kids from other neighborhoods whose parents drive them over but I still hand out like 4 pieces just because they’re keeping the spirit going.I’d like to hope that with so many people inside still more people will start going nuts with decorations like the old days again, I might make a display for the first time in years.

>>137818106>practice what he preachedAgain. What’s the alternative. Most of these comments are coming after that fact that jewwood fucked him over. What other major movie industry is there to publish and produce his movies? What’s he supposed to go to bollywood lol

>>137817931well at least they won't have to tell people to wear the mask on halloween......

>>137809132>tfw it snowed on Halloween in my town last yearShit was fucking surreal, I’m still keeping a bowl of candy by the door but I have no real expectations this year.

>>137819150That's a funny way of calling that season the fall.

>>137819266>Nowadays most of them are just kids from other neighborhoods whose parents drive them overI don't know why this annoys me but it does.

>>137818362>always read the horror books in grade school as well>come back from summer break>can't find them, must've rearranged the library>hey librarian where are the horror books>>we got rid of them so the 1st and 2nd graders wouldn't get scared>seethe so much i just walk home>get suspended for two daysgood times

How about non-horror movies that noticeably take place during Halloween season?

>>137819382It does for me too but mostly because I’m pissed at the parents in my neighborhood pushing so hard against Halloween the past decade because they’re afraid of needles or some other stupid shit.Even before the virus shit happened it seemed like everything turned into “no fun allowed” for every holiday, nobody wants to put any real effort into this stuff anymore and it really kills me a bit inside.I’d like to think maybe society now won’t take these little fun traditions for granted anymore, but it’s hard to say what our attitudes will be like in the coming years.
